Few generations of my ancestors were winged hussars. My family still have some of our hussar sabers and armors. As a kid when I was in my grandparents mansion I liked to took hussar saber, hussar armor ( it was heavy for a child, but I feel so baddass!) and go horse riding. It was so great to imagine that I am a hussar!

My great grandfather on my dad’s side was German and fought in WWII for America (he emigrated here). He looted a ton of dead Germans of their gear, and so we have some stuff like German war helmets and whatnot.

Literally me, Poland-Lithuania helped me get independent from Denmark, made an alliance between Poland, Sweden and England before eventually taking over the English throne. Conquered Norway and Denmark and after the first war with Muscovy, when Russia had formed, Sweden and the Commonwealth would slowly start to take away land from Russia, bit by bit. In the meantime, I have three Swedish Colonies in the New World: New Sweden, Vinland and Swedish Panama. Aside from England I also got in a Union with Hungary and Spain and the Commonwealth are also ruled by someone related to the Swedish Dynasty (take that von Habsburgs!). Oh and not to forget how I secured an alliance with the Netherlands.

I wish some day they will make song about another lion. "Lion of Africa", general Paul von Lettow- Vorbeck, commander of german forces in German East Africa during wwI. He with 14.000 soldiers ( 3000 germans and 11.000 askaris( africans) ) was able to stand ground against 300.000 of english,portugal and belgian forces. He was never defeated for whole 4 year war. Even that he had no supplies from Germany ( seas were controlled by England) he not only didn't lost his territory, but was able to invade entente's colonies. In 1918 only reason that he stopped his glorious victories was end of the war in europe... He came back to Germany as undefeated hero. And when Hitler in 1935 offered him job, von Lettow- Vorbeck say to him " go f*ck yourself" as an answer.

That's what puts them apart from other metal bands. Also, are you saying that videos with a story like Bismarck, Uprising or Pillars of Wisdom are shitty?

I swore I just left a comment here, was it deleted? I don't know. I did use the word retard and basically called feminism stupid. But the message was that Sabaton deserves to be appreciated, that's why people are liking it. They know what they're getting into, and epic band that talks about war in an epicly portrayed way. People that disliked it are choosing to not give Sabaton a chance and I can see why people are getting upset, most of the people that liked it know Sabaton is great and they want to share some of that greatness with other people. Thank you Sabaton for giving us this awesome music, I will cherish it for a long time. Rock on Sabaton!

At 0:28 , my levels of anxiousness are at an all time high at live shows when this part hits. It is my favorite part of the live shows because there's 30 seconds for the crowd to catch their breath and then ALL OUT CHAOS. Lights and mosh pits and drums. This video makes me feel that excitement over again! Love from Canada!
