I run match coverage but I also use zone drops… TURN MATCH ON EVERY TIME (unless you’re running drop 7 Cover 4) zone drops override all match rules for all underneath zones you have them active for, the deep zone matching honestly helps mostly win the covering the bomb plays, gives at least someone in the area to make a play or a tackle
I’ve always been interested in a match defense I just don’t rlly know to much about match tbh
Match been terrible so far and EA need to put a patch ASAP.
Match is absolutely broken currently . Any trips set is a bomb TD.
so i usually run match and base defense but i never use the zone adjustments i’m new i see the good players use them the one i only understand is the curl flats
Curl flats are purple. Hook curls are yellow. Cloud flats are light blue

N just depends how u use ur flats tbh. I play a cover 4 defense n make a lot of adjustments

I tried that once and my 94 OVR MLB covered the slot and got cooked because it put the nickel on the TE or something 🤣

What happened to the corner reaction to ball ? Aggressive, swat etc ? Mine isn’t a option anymore
Mine neither. Game is weird and glitchy. I also didn’t have passing mechanics then I had to reinstall the game and I still don’t have ball in air defense and I feel like a lot of things are missing in franchise mode and in general.
