I'm taking a psychology class, and I have to say your points make a lot of sense. Sidious is definitely a high functioning psychopath, no doubt. I think most, if not all, Sith suffer from the Dark Triad, which is composed of narcissism, Machivellianism and psychopathy. But there's also a Dark Tetrad, which is narcissism, Machivellianism, psychopathy and sadism. Seeing as Sidious is a sadistic fuck, it would make sense if he suffered from the Dark Tetrad specifically. Maul most likely has PTSD and BPD due to his abusive childhood and his bisection at the hands of Obi-Wan, and Vader probably has BPD, PTSD and dissociative identity disorder. Kylo is also an interesting case, because I think he most likely has Impostor Syndrome and depression. And yes, Plaguies definitely suffered from OCD.
@@baronvonkaiser9912 Sort of, haha. Impostor syndrome is basically when someone refuses to acknowledge their own good qualities. Adding to these mental issues, there were also two Legends-Sith who suffered from a serious case of solipsism - an idea that only the person exists and everything else are just imagination. Darth Ruin was first one, fallen Jedi master who built his own Sith Empire on nothing but his egomania before getting lynched by his own apprentices. Apparently he never considered them real or a threat. The second one was a lord named Daiman, introduced in Knight Errant comics, but that story was left halfway when Disney bought Lucasarts.
Several actual certified therapists who are also RUclipsrs (Cinema Therapy for example) have pointed out that both Anakin Skywalker and Ben Solo display almost all the characteristics of Borderline Personality Disorder.
As a psychology major, I would like to add some things to this. Most sith lords likely had histrionic personality disorder. For those who don't know, it is a personality disorder where a person is an attention seeker to the extreme. Whether it is murder, being obnoxious, or just hitting someone daily, someone with histrionic personality disorder will do just about anything for attention. The sith lords of old could probably be diagnosed with this disorder. Although, I will admit that diagnosing fictional characters with mental disorders can be difficult.
You would have to throw in the rest of the cluster B spectrum as well. And, also throw in a touch of sadism and cluster A pathological avoidance/ APD (cluster B in defeat). Lest we forget, personality disorders are co-morbid and even seasonal. It's possible to have all of cluster A and cluster B at the same time!
“I am Darth Revan, Dark Lord of the Sith. Those who use the dark side are also bound to serve it. To understand this is to understand the underlying philosophy of the Sith. The dark side offers power for power's sake. You must crave it. Covet it. You must seek power above all else, with no reservation or hesitation. The Force will change you. It will transform you. Some fear this change. The teachings of the Jedi are focused on fighting and controlling this transformation. That is why those who serve the light are limited in what they accomplish. True power can come only to those who embrace the transformation. There can be no compromise. Mercy, compassion, loyalty: all these things will prevent you from claiming what is rightfully yours. Those who follow the dark side must cast aside these conceits. Those who do not-those who try to walk the path of moderation-will fail, dragged down by their own weakness. “ - Darth Revan’s Holocron in Darth Bane: Path of Destruction
@@storytime6263 Revan did not return to the light by choice and I would not personally call Revan the poster for balance. Revan tried and failed to fully balance himself because even in the confines of Legends, being balanced is not sustainable. Excerpt from the Revan Novel: "In those days, he had believed this would protect him from the dark side, but he no longer had any such illusions. He was older and wiser. He understood that the two sides of the Force were more closely intertwined with each other than either the Jedi or the Sith would ever admit. He had learned to balance on the knife-edge between them, drawing on both the light and dark sides for strength." The problem however is that while it is true the sides are closely intertwined, the dark side corrupts those who use it. His idea of walking on the knife-edge was the same idea the original Je'daii Order tried to accomplish. The Je'daii Order was only ever to achieve balance during their thousands of years in isolation from the rest of the galaxy. The second their bubble of isolation ended when the dark sider Xesh and the Rakatan Empire brought war to Tython there was a schism that split the order when half its members fell to the dark and the other half fearing it banned its usage. Besides that, Revan was not unique, numerous Jedi and Sith have tried this and all have failed. Exar Kun tried using both sides and the second his life was put into danger he fully embraced the dark side and fell completely. Luke in Dark Empire also tried balancing on the knifes edge and nearly fell to the dark side himself. Darth Gravid tried to blend both philosophies on the force and it drove him insane. Kyle Katarn saw light and dark as arbitrary distinctions and almost fell himself to the dark side on a mission to Dromund Kaas. Cade Skywalker did not care about all that light side dark side speech and nearly fell because of it until Luke's force ghost scolded them. The only beings who can achieve a sustainable state of balance are non-mortal entities unbound to the same rules as mortals.
Drew Karpyshyn's garbage writing strikes again. We see what happens to those who let the dark side transform them, who became slaves to the force like Sion and Nihilus. Real sith lord uses the Force as a tool. Serving the Force is a jedi way, twisting it to fit your needs, to fuel your power is the sith way. Bane trilogy is average at best and it's all downhil from there with later novels of that author. Karpyshyn is a terrible writer, we see it best in Kotor 2''s case that elevates what was present in Kotor 1 to amazing levels. And I don't think Drew was the only writer for Kotor 1, I might be wrong here. Mass Effect fans agree, his contributions to ME universe were also quite weak.
@@miqvPL First off Sion and Nihilus are not a result of what happens when a Sith serves the dark side like some type of fanatic, their status as wounds are not only tied to their service of the dark. Sion did not exactly serve the dark like a god it was nothing more to a tool to him, he did not become a wound because he served the dark side like some deity he became a wound because his intense anger was holding him together through it. Nihilus became a wound in the force and was passively draining people before Kreia even trained him in the ways of the dark side. The only reason he joined the Sith wasn't due to him wanting to serve the dark, it was because he was promised by Kreia that she could teach him to feed his hunger by draining planets instead of just solely the individuals around him. Second Revan is not talking about serving the Dark Side like Darth Momin in the Vader Comics did by fanatically serving its will through acts of causing suffering and destruction. When he talks about serving the dark side he is talking about embracing the power that it grants by casting aside mercy, loyalty, and compassion in the pursuit of power. Darth Bane in the Bane trilogy you mentioned did exactly this when he chose to "serve the dark" by killing his rival Sirak without hesitation during their final encounter. Before when he faced Sirak in the dueling ring he had the chance to kill him but didnt due to hesitation: "But when he'd failed to kill the helpless Zabrak, she was quick to recognize and identify what had happened. It was a flaw in Bane's character, a weakness he refused to recognize. Yet it was there nonetheless. Once the passion of the moment had faded-once he was no longer driven by the dark side-his seething bloodlust had cooled. He hadn't even been able to kill his most hated enemy without provocation. Which meant he probably wouldn't be able to kill Githany if it ever came down to it." Bane was not a killer at this point in the story. All of his kills were either in self defense, in warfare, or in the case of Forgahr it was manslaughter as it was in the heat of the moment. Sirak was the first person he willingly chose to kill of his own accord and that is when he embraced the dark side. "He was responsible for their deaths. Even now, they weighed on him. Guilt over Fohargh's death had left him numb to the dark side for months. It had shackled him like iron. He didn't want to suffer through that again. "Listen to me," Sirak pleaded. "I'll serve you. I'll do anything you command. You can use me. I can help you. Please, Bane-have mercy!" Bane steeled himself. "Those who ask for mercy," he answered coldly, "are too weak to deserve it." His blade decapitated his helpless foe. The torso remained upright for a full second, the charred edges of the cauterized stump where the head had once been attached still smoking. Then it toppled forward. "
@@miqvPL Serving the dark side means treating the force as an energy to be conquered and bent to your will. It is not about following the Force's will, if anything the act of a force user using the dark side itself is a perversion of the force's will. It's the exact opposite of serving the force. Again the Bane Trilogy Here: "The Jedi shackle themselves in chains of obedience: obedience to the Jedi Council; obedience to their Masters; obedience to the Republic. Skere Kaan was so weak in fact, that he was ultimately defeated by a man-cub wielding a flaming branch. Or something like that- maybe that was someone else.
Skere Khan was everything but weak. The guy was brutal and efficient, and even Bane spoke highly of him. He may not of been much of a duelist, but when it came to control? The dude had the entire Sith Order bending to him. All those psychopaths who’d rather kill then serve…. Yet he was so strong with the force he made them serve him. That’s frightening.
@@erikurizita6702 Not exactly. Kaan was not a weakling, he was weaker then Bane by his own admission, but the other with only served him because he mentally manipulated them all with the force. Some of the only Sith in his brotherhood that could resist his mind domination were Bane and Kopecz. He sorely fed himself with weak minded fools and had to constantly force them to not turn on one another by mindtricking them. He’s not exactly frightening considering he is far weaker then the likes of Bane or Sidious or even Maul.
@@AbsurdFalcon Maul? He’s not even a trained Sith. He’s an assassin that knows maybe two force powers and was cut in half by a padawan. That’s what made Kaan dangerous, thinking he was so weak. He was strong, very strong. His grasp on the force was sharper and tighter than Bane’s all the way until insanity struck him and he used the thought bomb. What makes a Sith deadly isn’t their lightsaber skill or using the force brutally. It’s dominating your enemy. Which Kaan did. Kopecz wasn’t the only one strong enough to ignore Kaaba ability. Most of the Lords could. The problem is, Kaan was so sharp with the force he was able to dominate most of their minds. Once insanity grasped him all his followers started having doubts, because his grip on the force was slipping. As a whole? He’s not that strong when compared to any of the Sith who followed after him, but until him there wasn’t a Sith strong enough to dominate abs keep control over so many minds, and there wouldn’t be another one that strong until Sidious.
@@erikurizita6702 He was indeed a trained Sith. Sidious fully intended to make him his apprentice and the role Vader played for his new empire was what he envisioned for Maul. He has not displayed much beyond being an adept telekinetic in regards to force powers (at least in Canon) but his training was mainly focused on Martial skills. His defeat to Obiwan was because of his own arrogance, not a lack of skill. Plus he survived the encounter and grew even stronger to the point where Sidious became wary of him. Maul was never a simple assassin like Ventress.

OCD would explain why all things Imperial were kept so spotlessly clean. Nobody wanted Palpatine or Vader having a Force freakout just because they couldn't see their reflections in the deck plating.
Surprised that borderline PD wasn't mentioned here as that's definitely what Anakin/Vader suffered from. I don't know if any other sith lords showed similar traits, but one could also argue probably that Abeloth the Mother probably would fit into that diagnosis as well.
Psychopathy falls under Anti-Social Personality Disorder is not a mental illness. The same goes for Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Mental Illness can get better. Personality Disorders never change or get better, you can only learn how to cope with it
I find it interesting that the strongest sith, all started off on the path twords the dark side, not out of a pure desire to obtain power and rule, but rather, to fight their way out of an oppressive system. Take Bane, essentially a wage slave, who beat some Republic soldiers in a game of sabaac, they tried to murder him, he fights back, wins, KNOWS the Republic won't care about facts or not, and joins the sith army, where he would eventually go on the become one of the most powerful sith to ever exist. All because the Republic, created an environment where corporations took advantage of people, and even it's own soldiers were willing to murder someone. And those are the people we're supposed to root for. What was the REAL difference between the empire and the Republic? The empire had slaves? So did the Republic, but they called them corporate employees, who would NEVER be able to escape their economic station, because they people paying them, also owned their houses, the city, and even the entire planet they resided on, and controlled the cost of living expenses. At least the empire was honest about it.

Her Master already recognized this expression as a sign she was struggling to come up with an answer. "Through power I gain victory," she said when she finally spoke, reciting the final lines of the Sith Code she had learned only a few hours earlier. From her tone it was clear she was trying to work through her limited understanding of the dark side to arrive at the answer Bane wanted. "Through victory my chains are broken ..." she continued, slowly searching for an answer just beyond her reach. A second later she exclaimed, "Freedom! The dark side sets us free!" Bane nodded his approval. "The ledi shackle themselves in chains of obedience: obedience to the Jedi Council; obedience to their Masters; obedience to the Republic. Those who follow the light side even believe they must submit themselves to the Force. They are merely instruments of its will, slaves to a greater good. Jar Jar being a Sith Lord who was so badly messed up by it who then developed an obnoxiously goofy personality to cope is something I could believe happened. (and it would make the prequels more bearable)
Um Plageus didn't kill his Father at least not that I know of and I've read his book and in the story which he admits he exaggerated he arranges the death of his half siblings and cousins who didn't want him to get his share of the family wealth. In fact he had a decent relationship with his dad especially for a Star Wars character.
OCD doesn't have to be based om cleanliness. The core criteria is based around low self-esteem, needing some kind of order, obsessions and rituals. I suffer from OCD & ADHD that was driven to extremes by perscribed adderall. I had to address my hoarding problem at this time and I was only 26. My home was a mess but everything had a place, these things piled over here, those things piled over there, ect. I'm not obsessed with cleanliness, I am however obsessed with my animals, my guns, and my love of religion and media dispite being an atheist. These things will consume valuable time to the point where at it's worst, I would go a few days without bathing what only bothered me after the third or fourth day. After getting off the adderal many factors of my life became more manageable but my ADHD combined with my OCD causes my home and vehichle to be messy. This cannot be managed with any amount of medication that I've tried because as it turns out I'm Alergic to all perscription stimulants, which rules out most ADHD meds meaning that the ADHD is still active even if my OCD "managed". Meaning the hyperfocus still gets in the way of everything.
Egomania would seem to be the BIGGEST AND WORST of Sith mental issues far as the majority of most Sith goes.. since it sorta drove them all to do the things they did.
I would say that the psychopaths flat affect and lack of strong emotions would make them much better candidates for the Jedi. The form no attachments or otherwise entangling bonds. In fact I'd say that a lack of any emotional empathy would be a very good thing for a Jedi as well
@@nobleman9393 nope, trying to encourage that was a major mistake on par with traumatizing children by separating them from their parents at very early age. The entire Jedi system was set up to fail as a part of its entire narrative. Without emotionally damaged characters the story becomes completely different
Jedis are more psychopath: usually natural born lack of empathy leading to being distant and detached from others. Sith are sociopaths: usually trauma induced desensitization and "cutting off" of empathy leading to an aggressive anti-social attitude.
They toyed with the idea of Darth Palgueis had transfered his essence into JarJars subconscious. So deep in JarJars mind he couldn't be sensed in the force.
And as far as love goes you’re encouraged to love everyone equally this doesn’t mean diminish your capacity to love but love more some of the more notable Jedi wouldn’t even use a light saber and can heal with her hands or calls entire Orchards to grow overnight but we don’t hear about them we hear about the assholes with the swords The only one that is respectable enough to be even noticed it’s probably Obi-Wan and the only reason he got there was because of his pursuit of excellence which is very Japanese don’t you think
Welp it has to be Old Palpy himself manipulate the Republic & Jedi Order that Earth (21st century) has some 'symptoms' to side with the CIS. Though this would be a SNAFU/FUBAR event that the Republic & Jedi Order as they have never seen that warfare on Earth is totally bloddy carnage and all on hell. Even if it's a 'victory', the combine republic & Jedi force to Earth would be totally depleted to the point of literal collapse while Earth able to quickly recover in almost full strength which would use this reason to attack both Republic & CIS.
In a way, it does make sense that darksiders would possess some form of mental/personality disorder, as a major aspect of the Dark Side and the Sith is one of disrupting natural balances. It makes sense especially for someone like Palpatine, who was a person almost completely empty of anything other than pure will and selfishness and therefore lacked anything that would disrupt his connection to the Dark Side, which thrives on the individual imposing their very selves onto the Force, unlike people such as Vader, who carried lingering doubt, guilt and shame over betraying his morals and his allies. People like Palpatine prove that pain, fear, anger and hate aren’t the only path sto the Dark Side as is repeatedly stated.
I love how the perspective is kind of skewed there on the Jedi thing from one squirrel to somebody who has a squirrel head cat did I do not see themselves as devoid of emotion emotion is important emotion is used to balance the force if you become a slave to your emotions you fall to the Darkside if you were absent of emotion you fall to the Darkside understand
Love that you threw Jar Jar in the thumbnail. LOL Personally, I think the Jedi and the Sith are crazy. The Sith are murderous Chaos worshipers (40k joke) and the Jedi steal children wholesale. Even the Wtichers didn't do that. Plus after several thousand years of holy wars by one side or another. Maybe its time for someone to develop some tech to get these lunatics under control. They have hyperspace, blasters, doom lasers, force shields etc. They ought to be able to come up with something that disrupts Force users ability to access the force. After which they can be told in no uncertain terms you either behave and play nice or else.
Minor nit to pick. Sith wouldn't be Psychopaths, they'd be Sociopaths. The difference being that Psychopaths are born broken in the head, sociopaths become broken in the head later. If at any point in your life, you knew that kicking puppies and ripping wings off butterflies was wrong, you're a sociopath, not a psychopath. If you've always been that way, you're a psychopath.
the thing i dont get is why the hell u put so loud background music? im fluent in eng. yet I need subtitles because of that loud music that is just distracting...
It certainly seems that way on the surface, and in the beginning in might be somewhat true, since all Jedi have a degree of telepathy that could lead to excessive empathy and the overvaluing of individuals one is close to at the expense of all others. As they became more mature, however, empathy becomes one of the most encouraged traits. The devaluing of individuals is a more complicated topic. Jedi have an enormous responsibility to trillions of individuals, and often go in to fix major problems affecting thousands or billions at a time, meaning it is very important for them to be able to prioritize their mission over objectively less important concerns like individual people, especially their close friends. It's particularly important in the rare event that one of those friends does something wrong, up to and including a sudden shift from an actively benevolent person to an actively malevolent one who must be stopped at pretty much any cost. Not everyone has the strength of character to lose someone they deeply love and continue the mission without either impaired effectiveness or decreased concern for morality (both of which could get a lot of people killed in a very short period of time), especially if they were in some way responsible for that death, nor do they have the strength to make decisions where such results are possible, much less certain, without hesitation or impaired decision-making ability. At the same time, if your decisions can effect other people in such a massive way, and you are highly trained in empathy, it is quite likely that you will often be faced with decisions carrying the possibility or certainty of civilian casualties, as well as seeing the actual thing occur sometimes because of poor decisions, sometimes for the purpose of hurting you, and sometimes just because you happened to be around when it happened, and these can have similar effects. It is true that training and the Light Side of the Force are both known to strengthen, sustain and heal not just the body but also the mind (when employed properly), meaning the average Jedi is probably several times more capable of handling these scenarios than the average human, but there are still likely to be some who may not be able to handle the full weight of them, and placing lower value on individuals can decrease the psychological impact of their deaths. Even beyond this, there is the "what if your friend falls to the dark side and becomes actively malevolent and a massive threat to everyone around you" question. Not many people will be able to look in the eyes of someone they know and love, accept that that good person is still in there, and still kill them because they're evil and have to die for everyone's sake.
What if it actually is these exact "mental dissorders" that make high functioning people. Like a Vibe Check, if you are nothing special something Bad happens and you have the Normal reaction or you get a disorder and if you're then strong enough to live with it and maybe even turn it into an advantage you are granted a great future.
These are just the natural results of embracing the Dark Side. Sith consider the opposites- compassion, humility and mercy- to be the true mental illnesses.
so isnt murder and homicide different? like murder has to be premeditated or something. like if you plan on killing thats one thing i have no doubts that sith would do that but murder and homicide seem to be used interchangably

@@JohnCollins That is true

- Darth Revan’s Holocron in Darth Bane: Path of Destruction
Then became a Jedi again, and became the poster for balance.
@@storytime6263
Revan did not return to the light by choice and I would not personally call Revan the poster for balance.
Revan tried and failed to fully balance himself because even in the confines of Legends, being balanced is not sustainable.
Excerpt from the Revan Novel:
"In those days, he had believed this would protect him from the dark side, but he no longer had any such illusions. He was older and wiser. He understood that the two sides of the Force were more closely intertwined with each other than either the Jedi or the Sith would ever admit. He had learned to balance on the knife-edge between them, drawing on both the light and dark sides for strength."
The problem however is that while it is true the sides are closely intertwined, the dark side corrupts those who use it.
@@miqvPL
First off Sion and Nihilus are not a result of what happens when a Sith serves the dark side like some type of fanatic, their status as wounds are not only tied to their service of the dark.
Before when he faced Sirak in the dueling ring he had the chance to kill him but didnt due to hesitation:
"But when he'd failed to kill the helpless Zabrak, she was quick to recognize and identify what had happened.
Which meant he probably wouldn't be able to kill Githany if it ever came down to it."
Bane was not a killer at this point in the story.
Please, Bane-have mercy!"
Bane steeled himself. "Those who ask for mercy," he answered coldly, "are too weak to deserve it."
His blade decapitated his helpless foe. The torso remained upright for a full second, the charred edges of the cauterized stump where the head had once been attached still smoking. Then it toppled forward. "
@@miqvPL
Serving the dark side means treating the force as an energy to be conquered and bent to your will.
It is not about following the Force's will, if anything the act of a force user using the dark side itself is a perversion of the force's will.
It's the exact opposite of serving the force.
Again the Bane Trilogy Here:
"The Jedi shackle themselves in chains of obedience: obedience to the Jedi Council; obedience to their Masters; obedience to the Republic. Those who follow the light side "
"The belief that an individual must not bow down before anyone or is the dark side's greatest strength."
Ahhh, common Sith disorders...My first thought: God Complex
Mine: tremendous arrogance and pride.

"Well. They find my surname weird and funny..."
"Don't worry about that! As long as I'm here with you, no one will have the guts to insult you again!"
"R-really? But why?"
"Guess because I just don't stand watching how others get abused. Anyway, what's your real name?"
"A-Alek"
"Alek? I like it! By the way, my name is..."
Darth Malak: "...Revan"
Darth Revan: "Did you say something, Malak?"

Skere Kaan was so weak in fact, that he was ultimately defeated by a man-cub wielding a flaming branch. Or something like that- maybe that was someone else.
At least he didn't say Kaan Noonian Singh

It is nice to see you acknowledge Jar Jar Binks as a Sith Lord.
HA HA HA it's not funny and it never was.
7:17 Lmao the OCD clip of Vader putting his helmet on multiple times 😂😂😂
Wow, I never thought of this. Good one. When you look at the one case we know very well (Anakin/Vader), you just know he suffered from all kinds of disorders. It must be a common theme among the Sith, especially those who have been turned to the dark side from previously being good people.
I introduced my little kid to the clone wars cartoon and we used to hate the episodes with Jar Jar in it, but then I showed him Darth Jar Jar and we now love those episodes because Jar Jar as Darth Plageous the secret master behind even the emperor makes every scene entertaining to watch.
This is way more motivational than it should be
2:56 in case Of Bane it was environment since he was never outright psychopathic and found solace in Sith Army with Gloomwalkers
Darth Jar Jar Binks will just straight up disrespect you in a lightsaber battle. He’ll just insult you while using minimal effort.
Brilliant... as always!

Fun excerpt from Darth Bane: Rule of Two:
""Why did you choose to become my apprentice?" he asked, challenging her. "Why did you choose the way of the dark side?"
"Power," she replied quickly.
"Power is only a means to an end," Bane admonished her. "It is not an end in itself. What do you need power for?"
The girl furrowed her brow.
The dark side sets us free!"
Bane nodded his approval. "The ledi shackle themselves in chains of obedience: obedience to the Jedi Council; obedience to their Masters; obedience to the Republic. Those who follow the light side even believe they must submit themselves to the Force. They are merely instruments of its will, slaves to a greater good.
"Those who follow the dark side see the truth of their enslavement. We recognize the chains that bind us and hold us back. We believe in the power of the individual to break these chains. That is the path to greatness. Only if we are free can we reach our full potential.
"The belief that an individual must not bow down before anyone or anything is the dark side's greatest strength "
Jar Jar being a Sith Lord who was so badly messed up by it who then developed an obnoxiously goofy personality to cope is something I could believe happened. (and it would make the prequels more bearable)

Personally, I think the Jedi and the Sith are crazy.
That is true. However, Palpatine and Vitiate were born that way, so they would still be psychopaths, unlike most of the others.

The Light Side Jedi training seems to try _inducing_ lack of empathy and the devaluation of individuals.
Actually Darth Jar Jar (Ortan Cela) wasnt a sith lord, but actually a sith adept

So, Allan, is Jar Jar a secret Dark Lord of the Sith😉?
What if it actually is these exact "mental dissorders" that make high functioning people.
Like a Vibe Check, if you are nothing special something Bad happens and you have the Normal reaction or you get a disorder and if you're then strong enough to live with it and maybe even turn it into an advantage you are granted a great future.
Or maybe they impede you actual ability to deal with the world and make you prone to antisocial and self-endangering behavior.
These are just the natural results of embracing the Dark Side. Sith consider the opposites- compassion, humility and mercy- to be the true mental illnesses.
Wasn’t Shere Khan also the tiger in The Jungle Book? 🤔
Does Gen Tech have a discord?
so isnt murder and homicide different? like murder has to be premeditated or something. like if you plan on killing thats one thing i have no doubts that sith would do that but murder and homicide seem to be used interchangably
So Sith are powered by daddy issues good to know I guess

I don't think Dooku committed Patracide, neither did Maul, Darth Vectivus a lot of them didn't. Did Revan kill his father? What about Malak?
In cannon he killed his brother and ordered his sister’s death. Maul didn’t because his mother probably did it. I’d also add that not all of the sith mentioned in the video killed their parents in cold blood, plagues didn’t kill either of his parents (his father died from a genetic disorder) and bane didn’t intentionally kill his father but it would’ve been self defense if he had since his father was physically abusing him.
Ah yes. Darth vectivus. A perfect example of patricide
