When I was a kid I went through a phase of buying/begging my parents for any video game based off of adult animated cartoon (simpsons, family guy, ect). Well, this was one of them and I got it for my Xbox. Eventually my Xbox broke, and I got a ps2 to replace it. Then at a flea market I was dragged to they had the ps2 version for like 5 bucks and my parents got it for me to shut me up. Then literally like a year ago I discovered how much they were worth. So I sold my Xbox versions and kept my ps2 version. Just a fun story, but the game is horrible and I hated it both times.
This is gonna sound weird, but I feel like the worst games create the strongest memories haha. Either because it was so bad and gave you PTSD, or that it was so bad it loops around to being fun again lol.
I remember playing this Futurama game on Sony PlayStation 2 when I was thirteen. I liked that game but unfortunately I never beat it. I also remember when I was stuck on Bender and I kept dying all the time. I thought I found it too hard. The characters especially Fry NEVER shut up during the gameplay. I don't think there is an option to switch their voices off in the options menu. The PAL version was published by SCI Games which is now known as Square Enix Europe while the North American version was published by now-defunct Vivendi Games. We know it is also for Microsoft Xbox. A Nintendo GameCube version of this game was planned but unfortunately it was cancelled due to a belief that the show's popularity was too limited. A Game Boy Advance version was also planned, but it was cancelled as well. That was a shame, wasn't it? Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
Funny, I still have my PS2 version of the game, black label version. Gamestop was selling it for mad cheap back in like 2009/2010. I remember beating it and overall enjoying the game. Except those Zoidberg segments. Those are pure hell to get through if memory serves correct. Been meaning to pop it in an old PS2 someday just for shits and giggles, now I just may as well do so later this evening.
If you already own the game I'd highly recommend popping it in again, especially if you've got some nostalgia for it. That's awesome you bought it years ago too, saved a ton of money lol. I enjoyed the zoidberg segments a decent bit, maybe you'll like them more the second time through. If you end up playing, have fun!
A solution for those who want to play the game would be to acquire a PAL region copy as it’s a hell of a lot cheaper then you’d just have to find a way to play it.
Amy Wong is absent in this game. I don't know why the Swedish video game development studio Unique Development Studios (now defunct since 2004 due to their bankruptcy)/Fox Interactive (also now defunct as we know) decided not to put her in Futurama the Game.
This is making me wonder if without any additional parts Futurama as well as The Simpsons Hit and Run can be played on Xbox One because I have to keep on holding off on buying it because I don't know the actual answer no matter how many times I look it up
I know both of those games work on the Xbox 360, thats how I played them, but the Xbox one has very limited compatibility with og Xbox, so it's doubtful.
The mine level makes me rage really fucking hard. I hate this level! no matter how many times I jump, I always fall and die. Those rafters suck and I wish there was a cheat or something I can use to get pass them

I wish I could get my Original Xbox modded so I could playing a iso of it on that since it would be hard to get a Pal copy running
