The school bags are meant to last throughout their elementary school I believe, hence the high price. Also the temporary Tenmangu Shrine looks like something right out of a Ghibli film! I think I speak for everyone here but please continue to bring us your wonderfully curated content 🤩
i know that feeling of strolling the streets one last time before you head to the airport. feels hectic but at the same time it feels like you appreciate everything more in a last chance opportunity to take it all in. Great video as usual.
You guys are my current happy pill. I missed Sam's voiceover on the parts with only captions. Her voice is very soothing. Ill take these over asmr anyvday.
Ahhh new video drop 💝 Sat down with my coffee to enjoy this one, always a treat! Beautiful editing as usual, thanks again for the beautiful content you share
What a lovely video as always! Thanks for sharing so many good things in Japan. Your videos are very stylish and couldn't believe that I was watching Japan life that I thought I knew :)
"ralphs creepin on these monks" made me chuckle out loud~~ been a while since i've commented but trust that ive been lurking and watching every upload. so cool to see you both back in japan!!
Hey guys, love the video! We are in Fukuoka now and your video have given us some great tips for places to check out. We were at pain stock earlier and it’s so good! Will check out your favourite cafe tomorrow 😊
I’m pretty new to your channel and I’m so glad I found it, I love your videos ❤ I love the way you film and how you edit them and how you put the photos taken into the videos, just everything really there so pretty and relaxing to watch ❤ and it’s so great seeing places in detail that I might never get to actually visit 😊
Hi!! I really love your videos!! I've shared your channel with my friends who like your traveling style. We all appreciate the laid-back approach to your video style. Your travels inspire me to visit more places that are more niche so to speak. Just wanted to share, when cleansing your hands in shrines, you're supposed to pour the water away from the well not back into it. 😊 Can't wait to see your next upload!!!
Thank you so so much! We really appreciate the support 💖 Oh, and thanks for letting us know about the hand washing. We'll be sure to do it properly next time.
8:42 Even Sam is modeling even when she's not. It's a sign! 😁👍 18:14 She does it again! 17:34 THE best tea! I got it while in Japan and while I'm back home too. Also Pocari Sweat is another flavor I love At the very end, another hand model moment! hahaha. Both of you have it going on!
Enjoy seeing such beautifully shot videos ❤ it's been really surprising to see how popular film photography seems to be in the countries you've visited (being in my 50s I thought it had died out wirh digital cameras). Is there a particular reason or artistic preference for film?
Thanks, we really appreciate it ❤️🌸 the faded colors and slower process are just some of the beautiful things about film photography. I always say having film developed is like opening a gift. It really is, even if some pictures dont always turn out perfect 🥸🎞✌🏽
Thank you for watching! May boxed desserts sila that are ready for travel, but not sure lang if the fresh fruit mochi is travel-friendly. Might get mushy.
Do you know if they have flea markets on weekends in Fukuoka ? i've been following your videos and did and entire Taiwan trip around your recommendations!
@@RalphSam Yes, I am Japanese. I was born in Tokyo, but I lived in Fukuoka for two years four years ago for work. I now live in Kanagawa Prefecture. Please take care of your health and enjoy your trip ! 😃
It would be nice to know how much things cost hotel and restaurants. I am going in that island in late November, so I am very interested in the cost of things. The month before I will be in Hokkaido. I am not good in the heat like philipinos. By the way in Ottawa we have a lot a new immigrants from the Philippines, they are great and the girls really cute but short
Nice! We've been meaning to make it down to Osaka this year as well. We usually just search through Google Maps 😂 Try to filter based on the rating! You'll know a good looking spot when you see it 😉
depends on the situation. if we're in public, like in a crowd on the street, we just film. if we're in a shop we ask the shop person if it's okay to film with our phone. If someone indicates they don't want to be filmed, we listen. 😊
Edit after Ralph and Sam's response: Thank you for being respectful and creating such good content! ---- Love your vlogs, but I don't feel great about creeping on monks. I don't know if I'm overreacting but it gives me vibes when people take photos of maiko without consent 😭
sorry if it seemed that way! he was following them to ask for a photo, but since they were too far ahead he didn't get to. no photo was taken without permission. we do our best to show respect. 🙏

Kyusyu is famous for strawberries. Spring is the best season for eating them.
we enjoyed all the kyushu strawberry treats this spring 🍓😊
I’m thinking I should do a month in Japan after seeing all your vlogs. I wish I could go now but it’s hottt.
thank you! we just saw the news about the heat now 😯 the next window for better weather would be from october ✌🏻

Yey another Fukouka vlog. 🎉 Do you mind sharing what month did you visit? Thanks heaps!
Sure! We were there last week of March to first week of April 🌸 This year sakura fully bloomed by March 30
What month did you go? I'm planning on going next year Feb and wasn't sure how cold it gets
we were there last 2 weeks of march, and it was still quite chilly. feb must be even colder.
Can I ask which souvenir shop this was, selling the paper mache tigers? ☺️ 27:53
Sure! Look for: Shinto Shrine Souvenir Store ✌🏽
@@RalphSam Thanks so much! 😊

Theyre monthly I think. Check out the Hakozaki Shrine flea market online. Let us know if you end up going✌🏽 🥸😊✌🏽
Thanks to Ralph-San's shots, familiar cityscapes look strange to me.
They reminded me of my days as a skateboarder.
Arigato. I actually happen to love skateboarding photography books. Are you from Japan?
