Pat mentioned a good point that wasn't even discussed more and it should have was about the other sports besides football, some colleges are better in those other sports compared to football, just like basketball you have smaller schools making the ncaa tournament but are not that known or good in football which pretty much football seems what this whole thing is based around and it shouldn't. Colleges are for education first and sports second, so they just need to keep things simple a come up with rules and regulations regarding NIL and ditch this super pro league nonsense.

So, in this new proposed league how long would a player be allowed to stay on said team? If they are not drafted, could they just become a professional minor league football player. Would they keep the school name? Would they be allowed to be drafted to a said NFL team, and then placed in their minor league for development. I'm for NIL, I'm for player empowerment, but I love ALL levels of Football. every player not going pro, and we know that. Why cant we just enjoy Football the way it is. College Players getting paid now, they are allowed to freely transfer { mostly}, however I believe most will not be happy to every dollar is made. They the NCAA, NFL, or any other league seem to just car about money, and not the game. RAnt OVer

College football is about passion not money it won’t survive If it transitions to this I think schools need to get directly involved at this point and take out all 3rd party nil pay the players a solid salary on top of free education and room and board set caps of like 150k a year which would bring fairness back into the sport considering every team could afford a 22 man roster and kids would go to schools they actually wanted to play for instead of just choosing money
