@Wim- Thank you so much for posting this! LDDLH are my favourite Gypsy Jazz band - combining the spirit of Django with the humour and technical virtuosity of Steve Vai! Amazingly good. Seeing a video of these guys playing that was not taken from the audience on a cell phone is a treat. Who is the gentleman who joins them at the "St. James Infirmary" mark?
Oh I know, its only five years since you asking that, and probably you found by yourself who this gentleman is, but ... this is one another french gipsy jazz genius, Adrien Moignard, who nowadays plays in great project around a fabulous guitar : Selmer #607. Lets check out about that 😉 Sincerely yours
@@wimglenn, wait, you're calling Tim Ferris a spammer and removing comments about him? When he has repeatedly sent your video thousands of traffic and views? And many comments, which in turn signals to RUclips to show the video to more people? Kinda killing your golden goose, aren't ya? ps- great video, btw ;)
Moignard is bringing some good energy to the group, for sure!!
Never thought I’d appreciate whole tones as much, this is brilliant and the intro bends the ear in crazy ways
Just came here because of 5-bullet friday by Tim Ferriss.

That first number they play sure sounds like some Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks chords. Regardless, these guys are great.
Of course, where do you think Dan got his chords from?
