Jeffrie, I’m interested in buying a taramps 2000x4 for my complete setup……do you think this will run 4 6.5 coaxial’s in 2 ohm to Channel 1 and 2 , and a single 4 ohm 10” bridged on channels 3 and 4? 4ohm is the lowest I can go bridged right? I just want to make sure before I purchase everything…I already bought my 4 audio control 6.5 components speakers….and am now ordering my American bass 4 ohm 10” sub……..I decided to build a fiberglass enclosure on the left side of my vehicle. And I’ll sink the amplifier into it and finish it off with matching paint to the vehicle….ive been in car audio for 35 years….im just not fluent in this new generation of gear……I was going to run my power hungry Orion hcca 2x50’s…..but from what I read, these new class D are way more efficient…..and I kinda want to preserve my old hcca stuff……
Yes and I'd recommend getting the DS series. I would NOT recommend the TS series or any TS series. The power and quality is no issue HOWEVER, the TS2000x4 DOES NOT POWER ON IF ITS TOO COLD OUTSIDE. I had this amp and read other reviews claiming this. I can confirm this is true. Around 28 degrees outside and colder and you have to wait until your vehicle warms up. I called taramps and they confirmed this does happen with this amp.
This isn’t a review this is just talking about a amp. A review is using and tell how good it does you would get way more views showing what the product actually does. But hey it’s your Chanel who am I to say.
Good afternoon does this amplifier play well on mid bass speakers?
