"if you live in a hostile area with bears and stuff." Bro, that's not a hostile area. And I would like to see anyone survive a bear or bobcat encounter with an etool. Don't be giving people a false impression of security. Nobody will be stabbing the eyes out of a bear with this when being attacked. Otherwise, good video, other than the foil sleeve. Foil is extremely finicky, and it wouldn't keep it's shape past the first pull through. Just use it as it is, and you can roast/fry most small game

Hope that bear and mountain lion waits for you to unfold that shovel. Bear spray is first level of defense. Large caliber handgun is second. If you're lucky enough to hit a bear with that shovel you're just gonna piss him off. Plus if he's close enough for you to reach him with that shovel you're already dead.

I suppose it is definitely better than nothing or bang it against a rock to create annoying noise

이것의 유일한 문제점은 금속 제품보다 깨지기 쉽고 금속 제품은 더 작게 접힌다는 것입니다.

So I get to a camp site, but it is way overgrown with grass. Put the e-tool in "pick mode" as you said and swing it towards the saw teeth. Scythe. Made a decent camp site real quick. The e-tool may be heavy, but it gets so many jobs done and is a nice chair also.

Cooking with your shovel eventually destroys the steel temper and they do break. The heat also transfers into the alluminium joints and causes issues.
It is a very bad idea to cook with your shovel.

@@wolfoutdoorreview I know a lot of people do it bit with enough heating and cooling cycles (it only tales a few) the steel looses its temper and becomes very soft or if it is rapidly cooled it becomes very brittle.

@@turtlewolfpack6061 It may ruin the temper, but there's enough steel there that it won't make it a cracker. May have to resharpen the edges, but beyond that, it's still good. Still have mine from OIF 2 and have done plenty of cooking and digging with it.
