Great video. I really like these packs I am using one in multi cam. The wood land like that is getting harder to find
Love my filbe assault pack
There definitely really nice and high quality
That patch isn't for wiping your glasses. It's for wiping your nose in cold weather. The palm and fingers are goat skin.
Interesting I wasn't aware of that thank for the information
Hey dude great video. I love my surplus gear. Right now my favorites are the assualt pack and the mediruck. As a smaller channel myself that is all I watch anymore its better content. Just subbed. Keep up the good work
Thank you for watching and commenting your channel looks useful as well you can never go wrong knowing medical information and I think that knowledge+the right equipment that is reasonably priced it a total win as you get to save money but also exceed your requirements for whatever it is you need it is nice as in the medical field and camping it seem pay to win unless you use surplus I hope my other videos are helpful and thank you for subscribing it means alot
@wolfoutdoorreview absolutely
Great review! I like that you provide dimensions along with advice about what portion of this is actually usable. Fantastic tip about burning off the ends of fraying fabric to prolong the life of the equipment. After watching your video i went through and did this for a pack and a couple of pouches I have. Thanks!
Your welcome thank you for watching and I am glad the information is useful!
Mine won’t stay on any help
Mabye try a different charger or mine doesn't work anymore so mabye they have bad battery life
@ because I press to turn on it blinks and the red light blinks but don’t stay on but if I plug it in it’s green and stays on
Yea mine does the same the battery life is pretty bad on them it guess I would look up nebo slim plus forums on Google to get some more information
75 dollars is a steal, brother. Just found the pants for 80!
I figured it was worth the cost although I wish it was $5 from goodwill or whatever 🤣
Am getting one
I recommend them there really nice thank you for watching
Am getting one 😊 and cutting the sleeves off fashion
That actually might be useful good luck with that
Holy **** dude, take some Sudafed!
It sounds like you're struggling an awful lot during this. Are you okay?
I am good I plan on working on everything filming and re making a bunch of these videos I realized I had a cold in a few and I am not the best at articulating thoughts quickly
@wolfoutdoorreview you're good! I watched some of your other videos and realized that this was abnormal. Making sure you're all good, man!
@motogbadger357 thanks for thinking about me yea I am not sure what was wrong I definitely regret some videos weather it be quality or speaking volume etc but I intend to remake this video with a PCU level 5 video were I go over the jacket and pants together and have quick links to skip ahead to each part I am slowly learning technology I am not the most tech savvy person but luckily when I get something down it is unconscious afterwards so I don't have to think about it too much
I have that same one
they are pretty cool hats I personally like the shape of the hat compared to a ball cap
damn bro blow your nose sounds like you got a snot rocket up there
Thanks man, even though a shovel, took me a minute to figure out how to lock it in place, good vid and yes unlike many I've looked at yours is the most detailed
Thank you for watching and commenting hopefully I touched on the most important points glad it was helpful
I’m sort of confused on the level 4. Why would you want to use this instead of a level 5?
I personally think packability and weight and wind protection also I find the Level 5 kinda baggy even when it fits compared to the level 4 which is more streamlined hope that helps
How good is it cutting down on the wind?
@MarcP5267 I would say with a long sleeve shirt on about 87% it is way better than the Level 5
I would be wearing level 1 and 2 under the level 4.
@MarcP5267 I would definitely say 90% then it is well worth the separation between it and the Level 5 in my opinion
Mmss review. Would love to see that 👍
I will keep that in mind and try to do it
Love the system. Looking forward to the complete MMSS video.
It is coming soon
8:40 you mean FOG? man, you are one lucky bastard to get it for 75 bucks:D i wouldn't regret this purchase. i can't even get one under 350 now in Europe thanks for the detailed review, i was really looking for this exact jacket
Yea I am definitely glad I was able to find one I think the old owner assumed it was just some civilian commercial version of a patagonia jacket anyway best of luck for finding one i would try the weird sites to possibly find a cheap one like poshmark or whatever thrift store websites etc you guys use
@ thanks! yeah, i was looking everywhere but the cheapest that i found in my size is 375€, on some sites they're selling it for 680€
@benya_gt and what size is that?
@@wolfoutdoorreview small regular
Hard to find info on these, thanks.
Your welcome glad I could be a help
DAMN! I thougt tese would fill up AT LEAST 3 liters in a pack
They are really nice rain systems and I have used mine personally way more after the video and it is really durable I do alot of wandering around at parks and stuff and it resists tree branches scratching it well and it also handles constant wear from my packs very well overall a great investment although I prefer the shiny material jacket verses the newer goretex one
Hi - how tall are you?
I am 6ft exactly
I have this waist pack, but I have miltec liner instead and it doesn't fit.
I recommend rolling it tighter and sitting down in a L position and using your feet to create tension when rolling you can roll stuff very tight
Would you happen to know the NSN for a large regular? I’ve been trying to find this size on eBay but I can’t seem to find it. I like that particular version.
I'll look into it

It's a little old and beat up but it is the older version without hood buttons and in large regular
The contractor for this particular parka was Winfield MFG. Co., Inc.
Here is a new one www.ebay.com/itm/296815206404?_skw=Winfield+woodland+parka&itmmeta=01JDQP9M0MSAMB4XDT08R0QBHN&hash=item451b90a004:g:EeUAAOSwiIZnNQQ9&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKnjxr6cFCPOYgpDB5OMdLUvM5mfDlVVGClKrbjvQMsEdS7Ve6yESDQgqAjRZjWUxxfDpbdCvSNJ3YUHKoErVPI0hBkpsLucxFo7EbPtAzEZpzMZawJ2CP%2FpNNY7kpxWh9GizytnF3ISZljFeGOaSV0StfbpxnDO%2B8Clvf6HLpC0NCdpnNOWS4Wq4ElId1xq9HW8NeZGgxiwlGk32MCAAC20w26sTHrjxJM4LaQUiCEF72eIi8l6QnskQ0fg9MjyRzMyO967cJTNGZURCuCFVK86nuGsOvUA0BcGrVJr7AOBtw%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR7LApvbtZA
I’d be interested to see your woodland version and how you have it packed.
I intend on doing a video on it soon
Price ???
I am not sure I found mine locally and traded it for some stuff it looks like $45 ish it is known as IFAK II thank you for watching and commenting
Thanx for the reply@@wolfoutdoorreview
I've used one of these flashlights for years now camping and hiking lol i really like the low setting it has also since i dont always need a really bright light.
I agree they are really nice lights and it is sometimes better to have a red light rather than a 1000 lumens flashlight
I see you have a large, what's your weight amd height? Asking because I'm about to order a few and am curious about sizing. Thanks in advance
I am about 180 here and 6ft at the time and it fits pretty well and it loose on the stomach area thank you for watching and commenting
Hey, if you don't mind sharing what's your height / weight / suit size or chest circumference? Thanks!
Thank you for watching and commenting regarding your question I am 32x32 pants and 6ft and 200lbs
@@wolfoutdoorreview Thanks a lot, these must run big for you to fit a size S-R!
@sl1237 I do and they are oversized to fit over your whole kit body, armor, flc etc
Now Dye it lol
Definitely something I would recommend I wore this thing out and the shoulder stitching ripped out
thanks for the review. I have one coming from ebay. It looks good..
Thsnk you for watching and commenting Hopefully it works just as well for you
Please tell me, at what frost will it be warm? -15°C?
I think that you could get away with -15° C they are really warm gloves and as long as you wear liner gloves and move your fingers and keep your hands dry you could probably last about 4 hours but it is always recommended to have a warming fire or tent to warm up in after a while thank you for watching
@wolfoutdoorreview thanks for the answer
@Serg_Atlas69 your welcome I am glad I could be of help although personally I would go with the outdoor research firebrand gloves they are really nice
@@wolfoutdoorreview Please, tell me what do you think about gloves "intermediate cold wet"? quality, and warmth? made in USA
@Serg_Atlas69 I personally think they are pretty good gloves but they are kinda bulky and hard to actually use but they are high quality and warm but you have to make sure to get them in the correct size
What’s the breathe ability of the material ? Is it light weight or heavier duty ?
I would say a little bit of both I would compare it to the current USGI level 5 material or mabye a tightly woven cotton tee-shirt type of feel
Thanks for the video. Can You make a summary video of a whole clothing system from the point of practical use cases? What and when to wear and what does certain layers do?
Thank you for watching and commenting I can definitely do that the only thing is it may be a while as I am in school still and I have finals coming up so it may end up being in December but I will definitely do a video on the whole system
There is a Great manual on this if you search "ecwcs pdf" . In General they have passive and active category then diffrent weather conditions. For example Level 4 windshirt is to be worn with level 1 and cammies when active in above 45f in wet conditions. When you get static you pull out the level 6 on top of it all.
@rickarderiksson7431 interesting I wasn't aware they had a "instruction" book for this system all I know is based on the ads videos online and forums thank you I will check that out
So very interesting
Thank you for watching I really enjoy these gloves there really nice
Nice bag ! Love mine too
I like it as well it is great for storing winter clothes on the off-season
Looks like a great upgrade to ye olden ALICE first aid pouch, which was usually used for compasses. It's a shame Safariland has created a premium price for their equipment, I'd like a couple of sets of SPEAR stuff, but monies monies monies.
Yea it sucks it is so expensive it is really nice although it seems alot of people prefer OCP/Multicam which is good it limits the stress on Woodland and DCU
Those dollar store batteries are garbage they will leak and ruin you flashlight internals... Fulton sells a kit that brings a LED bulb and two adapters so you can use AA Batteries like energizer lithium or Eneloop rechargable batteries great option, makes the light much lighter and much more bright due to the led bulb.....very durable and dependable light if you don't mind the size.
Interesting I'll have to keep that in mind as I definitely like keeping my vision in low light so I use these flashlights
for how much?
I have seen them at around $150 or you can buy a acu digital camouflage for cheaper
@@wolfoutdoorreview I was asing you personally. I can find them on the internet and at the local Navy warehouse.
I paid $100 for mine local on Craigslist
Congratulations on a fantastic video bro! truly useful and informative. I really envy you! you are incredibly organised to be able to spend two hours working on something that is worth $30, I wish I could do that myself! Well done bro! I loved the video!
Thank you I don't do this for all my stuff just the daily use stuff for example I keep a medical kit in my backpack and it is good to keep in good shape I definitely don't have the time to do much of this that's for sure
В пакетах по 28 слоев тексара.
я не понимаю тебя
Good thorough review, thanks for sharing, YAH bless !
Thank you for watching and commenting
Yeah i have the same fleece from Goodwill but mine doesnt have a polartec tag it only has a tiny black tag that shows washing instructions. Why is that?
Interesting it could have been ripped off by the original owner it is sometimes hard to find original tags as they make the neck itch so people remove them it also could be a nwu fleece jacket liner they are similar
@@wolfoutdoorreview No im talking about the Polartec tag on the inside pocket that you showed at 2:20. Instead of that mine literally looks like a black square with washing instructions, no red Polartec sign
@kingnevermore25 oh this one is a later jacket the earlier ones it was on the neck the Polartec logo was along with the producr which is most of the time some sort of goodwill organization
@@wolfoutdoorreview On the neck i have “Goodwill South Florida” and left of it a white tag with sizing and NSN number. On the pocket where Polartec tag should be i have black square with washing instructions. It literally looks the same like the one from the video titled “Fleece Jacket ECWCS GEN II Polartec Classic 300” that lasts 4:12 min and the thumbnail depicts three soldiers wearing these fleeces. Please take a quick look if you dont mind, im interested in your opinion
@kingnevermore25 I looked at the video and think it is probably on the neck I own a few of these jackets and will look through them and can send you photos if you want to email me at wolfoutdoorreview@gmail.com I will send you some info
Hey man just bought the same color scheme m81 on on eBay. Didn’t actually check out any reviews before getting but non the less Great review thanks for going in depth for all the pockets and materials. So glad I bought one too. Great video !
Thank you for watching. I definitely agree they are pretty nice and great for quick hikes or around town for wallet keys etx
Never heard of LensTatic.
It is to show the difference between that and a baseplate compass, which is different
@@wolfoutdoorreview They are Lensatic, not lensTatic. Just sayin.
@Fireguy- where it is a local pronunciation of it Midwest to be precise
Can anyone please let me know where i can get my hand on one. Been searching for a while

This thing is a game changer. I never used it until my second enlistment when someone finally showed me what you could do with it. nobody else used it either or explained to us how the entire MOLLE system goes together. Ever since then I've had one attached to my assault pack. It saves so much room in my pack
I definitely agree I just tend to sit around and see what fits
@@wolfoutdoorreview I always just put my wet weather gear in it! It's the perfect size, plus it keeps my damp clothing from getting anything else wet in the main pack.
Good idea i never thought of putting wet/smelly clothes in the waist pack
Thanks
Your welcome hope you enjoyed
Great review of the CAS bag. I just found one here in Mexico City, but it didn’t have any of the inserts. Glad to see you reviewing them. Keep up the efforts. All my best from the @mikeinmexico channel.
Thank you hopefully you are able to find some inserts for it they are pretty cool and useful
Looks awesome, love that brown chinstrap in contrast to the white cover!
I like it as well it reminds me of a German ww2 helmet where they painted them white or used sheets to cover them ironically the shape is still the same after all these years
bruh dont breathe in the mic
