Darrel sir..I would really like to thank you...it is very important to see the problem in a different way and that difference of sight can lead to a solution..I had lifted my pencils after about 22 years to sketch..so I started with parts of portrait first..I was scared when it came to hair..just a view point of visualising it as a negative did the job for me 🙏🙏 so grateful...what is most valuable along with the techniques that you share is the philosophy behind it 🙏🙏🙏.. 😀being a phd I think it sinks so much into you that it applies to every branch that one out hands into!
Thank you. Your demonstration of drawing random hair was helpful. I would like to see you draw more complicated hair for a portrait, where you're trying to duplicate almost exactly a subjects hair. Thanks
Me encantan sus vídeos solo que no hablo inglés y me cuesta entender pero veo como lo ase y me doy una idea de cómo aserlo felicidades es un gran maestro
I love the way he used to sketch a hair, is so fascinated; for real" but the fact is that I'm a gifted guy right from childhood, which today I'm pro in drawing, just that I fell into this video in RUclips and stopped by, is pretty interesting...?
This is because if you're any good and you feel like you know things, there's still some nagging thought that there's yet another trick to learn. Sometimes it just makes clear a thing you knew but couldn't quite put a finger on, but other times that suspicion is right and you get another tool to put into the bag of tricks. Either way it still pays off if you don't overdo it.

Thank you so much. I've only drawn a few pictures in the past couple yrs. Of course because I don't think ahead I went and picked someone that I thought was out of my league, but because of this tutorial I'm able to finish my Anya Taylor-Joy picture. I'm a vet seeking treatment if you have classes I'd like to take them to help with my PTSD. I'm willing to pay.
