This was the shit when I was in school a long ass time ago. Back when em was ruthless and slim shady captured all our hearts Even a country gurl like me.
On the album, you’ll hear “ my English teacher wanted to flunk me in junior high. Thanks a lot next semester. I’ll be 35.” And then he says “running over pedestrians “ and completely takes out the second line and skips to while “they’re screaming. Let’s just be friends.”
So this is slightly different than the album version. It’s almost the same thing except for two lines in the second verse when he says “my English teacher wanted to have sex and junior high. The only problem is my English teacher was a guy,” and then the line where he says, “killing pedestrians, raping lesbians.” Both those lines were banned so he had to make a third version for the album.
Yeah this is back before some people in the world got wayyy to sensitive and everything became so PC! Better days!

so, if I understand correctly the guy who provided the beat for the song was gay and wanted eminem change the line about the math teacher being a guy and asking to sleep with him otherwise he refused to allow em to use it (it was censored even on the album version, you really did find the raw version of the song)
Dre created this beat. When he first met Em, he brought him into the studio and played this beat for him, and Em immediately started singing: Hi, my name is...
Dre talks about it in interviews.
Dre said he knew Em was special in that moment..

@@koosh4297yes the sample is from Labri Siffre’s “I Got The” from the 1970s and I guess he’s gay or bi and wanted that verse changed to use the beat lol. The original song by Labri Siffre is dope as hell too
