Freddie Mercury: A World of His Own - Sotheby's, London

#Short In September 2023, I was fortunate to join a guided tour of Freddie Mercury: A World of His Own at Sotheby's in London. The exhibition preceded an auction of Freddie's belongings and it was fascinating to see so many beautiful and unique objects that were lovingly collected by Freddie Mercury.
This was a thoughtful and respectful look at his life but also gave a deep insight into Freddie's world without feeling invasive. It also made me want to find out more about him via documentaries and books about his life.

You are so lucky to have been able to view Freddie's collection as a "private viewing" it seems.
And i agree, to think Mary Austin raised 2 boys in Garden Lodge and managed to keep everything so pristine.
