I fell in love when I saw her at the Jardin des Tuileries leaving a show after her first season. I knew right away she had something incredible.
What a beautiful person. I absolutely love her personality. She’s so honest and down to earth, it’s so refreshing to see….especially in the fashion industry where people are often blacklisted for telling the truth about how awful the industry can be.
I just look at her and feel so proud of how big she is as a model, knowing that back in 1997 gianni versace was screaming at her face calling her a terrible model and telling her to go get a sunbath…

I am glad to see that 43 yr old person can still be a model. Like I am quite scared that when I will get older how am I gonna make money but this is a sign that if you are good at it you can still be a model even in your 40s and 50s

I remember when she started with Gianni Versace and she worked with Avedon. Her beauty was unique and avant-garde ! There was Kate Moss and then Karen Elson and then Alec Wek, they broke the ceiling of conventional beauty. She changed over the years, she is so sophisticated, but a great personality. I watched a footage of a gala in London, Princess Diana was the Great guest and Karen was in the back with a glass of champagne 🥂 chatting and laughing.
