Hi… sorry you can’t seem to get things working. Has the Simbrief flight plan imported ok?? Don’t forget you still need to manually input your SID & STAR as normal. Thanks for commenting & watching 👊✈️
Hey, thanks a lot… yea, we just have to go with what we have. Unless you’re on PC in which case the Kuro & Horizon are excellent. Thanks for watching 👍✈️
hey, i just got the stock 787 by getting the premuim deluxe and why is the horizon better? its just smaller no? im a newbie obviously and I still dont even know why simbrief is relevant but thanks for the videos!
Hi John… welcome to flight simming! the horizon is basically the same as the default version, as you say it’s the -9 which is the smaller variant and more common IRL. There are a few minor feature tweaks… you get both GE & RR engine variants with liveries, they added a doors page to the EFB and they also included CPDLC functionality too, and improved exterior modelling along with enhanced interior textures. Apart from that it’s the same airframe as the default. It’s definitely worth getting as it’s free. Simbrief is a really great tool for flight planning, especially when you pair it with a Navigraph subscription and get access to charts etc. Thanks for watching and commenting, appreciated 👊✈️
Hi, thanks for your question. If you look towards the top right of your Simbrief flight plan (I know it’s a bit dark to see on my vid) there’s a block of data and the Cost Index is the top figure… it’ll say something like CI 31. Hope this helps… thanks for watching and commenting 👊✈️
Ah man, that sucks… just double check you’ve entered your Simbrief user details correctly in the FMC and you’ve also generated a flight plan on the Simbrief website. You might need to make sure you’re also using the latest AIRAC cycle in Simbrief. Hope you get it sorted. Cheers for watching, appreciated ✈️👍
This is the best video on loading up simbrief but can you tell me, Do you still have to upload the flight plan on the start page on MSFS or just locate the plane to the airport because i think i am getting a message saying duplicate plan!!! Normally i just make up a plan on the world map and just go with that, But i am trying to do a proper flight
Hi Malc, thanks for your kind words. To answer your question… no need to do a flight plan on the world map page. Just create it in Simbrief, load into your 787 and import the flight plan as I described and you’re golden! Cheers for watching 👊✈️
Hi Edwin, thanks for your question. It’s really hard to diagnose your issue without seeing it but make sure you complete all your preflight performance calculations etc, check your cruise altitude is all set as per your Simbrief flight plan and the FMC should be able to calculate the altitudes for your various legs. It should also display any altitude constraints that may apply to certain waypoints. Thanks for watching 👍✈️
Hey… thanks for your question. It normally just asks you when you log in to Simbrief to update to the latest AIRAC. Just hit the ok button and you should be fine. Happy simming 👍✈️
Thanks for your question… you can’t 100% stop the black screens on Xbox but I have my settings adjusted which minimises the issue as much as possible. MSFS pushes the Xbox RAM to its absolute limit and when the screens go black it’s due to a lack of memory. So I have my settings as follows: Photogrammetry: off. Rolling Cache: deleted & off. Bandwidth: limited to 40mb/s. Then when I’m setting up & taxiing the aircraft, particularly when I’m in & around complex payware scenery, try & stay in cockpit view without looking around outside the aircraft too much!! As I say still not 100% but hopefully this will help. Thanks for watching 👍✈️
@@seven3simmer do you have to not look outside? i can stay looking inside but sometimes i have to look outside to make sure im properly following the taxiway
Doesn’t work for me the aircraft don’t follow the flight plan 😕

Wow! SimBrief import still works? I thought, Asobo does not want this function and told WTT to remove it.
Thanks for showing!
Yea, it’s quite well hidden away but works like a charm. Thanks for watching 👍
