She had the audacity to look at me so offended when all I was saying to her was the truth. She then proceeded to ask for a manager
In the U.S. in public it is legal, but you can't technically post on social media or us them in TV shows or movies without their legal consent (why some reality TV shows have people's faces blurred out in the background). Some businesses have rules pertaining to videos and pictures in their stores/restaurants, not for the costumers, but they don't want their stores being filmed, so they have policies not allowing that. But in general, in public places in the U.S. privacy in terms of pictures and videos isn't a "right" like it is on public property. If someone was taking videos or pictures of you on private property (your house, a friend's house, family's house, etc.) without permission/after you've told them to stop that's illegal.

Like ma'am if you wanna fight, we can, but you'll have to swing first before I beat your ass. My male coworker who was 18 at the time, and over a foot taller than both of us just walked over, wrapped his arm around my waist, picked me up and walked away cause he knew if she hit me I would've absolutely lost it, and my manager ended up kicking her out 🤣🤣
