that last part !! she's talked about how her boundaries were crossed in the past and enabling this behaviour may lead to her reliving her trauma with the people who are supposed to love her
Agree 100%. The fact that the impact was enough to startle her and cut the verse short while she was singing shows that it a violent act, no matter the intention behind it.
I agree, that necklace if it had beads in it could have also hit Billie in the eye! It could have been a dart, a knive or anything. the fan was out of order doing it and should have been removed from the concert.
Thank you for this! People must remember that she, Taylor, and many others are as vulnerable as a child on a stage that size. She has a huge, HUGE heart. I played drums for ten years, and when Taylor Hawkins died so young I cried. At a following music awards show, she walks on to the stage with Taylor Hawkins' image on her T-shirt! I LOST IT when I saw this beautiful soul do that, LIVE in front of millions of people. ❤💔❣💖
It's like once you become famous, your no longer human. Your boundaries are allowed to be crossed simply because you have fans and should be grateful your even in the position your end, when really, that's a very ignorant mind set. Funny thing is that is comes from folks who know darn well if it was them, their reacting immediately.
lol thats unlikely. its a necklace not something heavy. and as you can see she closed her eye. not defending the thrower, but she was not gonna lose an eye
@@ezra5737 what if she didn't defend herself? What if she defended herself to late? Heaviness doesn't come into play at all, if you throw something hard enough it will hurt another person (like the video said) it doesn't matter if it's a lolipop, a box, or anything. It's dangerous regardless
@@ezra5737 She was closing her eye because she was singing, not because she saw the necklace arrived. If it did touched her eyeball, that could've been super painful
Also I hope you'll keep uploading! This is literally the first time I ever voluntarily watched a random video with low views (so far) from start to finish lol. You're very easy to listen to and I appreciate a good common sense take :D
I can't imagine anyone wanting to hurt her Feelings or for sure harm her In anyway. She is so Authentic And genuine. I appreciate Billie, Finneas, Maggie and Patrick wholeheartedly. Arkansas says so.💙
Totally agree. There's another thing that people do that I think is rudely invasive, despite good intentions. People in the audience litterally scream her lyrics at her while she's singing. They don't just sing along with her, they scream the lyrics. I don't know why, maybe hoping she'll be impressed that they know every syllable of her songs. I suppose the fact that she doesn't object to it could be considered implied consent, but I wonder if she ever just wants to tell people to stop so she can give a concert. You literally cannot hear her singing during the chorus of many songs. There have been touching moments at concerts when people spontaneously join in, and the artist welcomes it, but the specialness of such moments is lost when it becomes the normal thing to do. Going to a concert by an extremely popular pop singer is kind of a waste of money when you basically don't get what you paid for. /rant
I like your commentary but I disagree with your statement at 2:22 You ever thrown a balloon as hard as you can at someone? It just bounces off of them like nothing. lol great vid though :D
So maybe there are exceptions, because some things are too soft to do any damage when thrown with your hand. A necklace, is not one of those exceptions. And that one looked hard, imagine that hitting your eye or your nose, that's gotta hurt!

THANK YOU. i can't believe some people don't get this
Thank you. Billie deserves the world

Celebrities are not your possessions. If you wouldn't even do it to your pet why do it to another person?

What if it hit her in the eye and she lost her eye because of it. Simple.
