  • I picked this set-up up on craigslist for $800. I'm super happy with how well it gets the job done. Thanks for watching and good luck with your plots this year.

Stellar job man. That’s perfect! I bet that hitch system is pretty expensive right? That would be perfect for my needs. A clear cut in the midst of oaks and a 1/2 acre plot in the bottom. I bet clover would do great in half of that field. Beans and rye in the others. For some reason I haven’t had much luck with brassicas here. The beans and clover are the target. Look forward to next video.

Thanks. I paid $800 for all of it. This year I did frost seed clover on half of mine. Good luck with your project.

Question on the support bracket. I looked for one on the Kolpin site. The one available is mounted with U-brackets. It says not compatible with my Mule 4010. Where did you get yours? Your videos are really helpful. Thanks.

I had the bracket welded to the frame.

@@tjsfarmandfamily Yes. Thanks for the info.
So you used the one available from Kolpin and got it welded?

@@spambait00 I bought the whole setup used but yes, I believe it was the support bracket that came with it. My father in law is a welder and he cut part of it off and welded it on.

@@tjsfarmandfamily Great to have a welder in the family. I contacted Kolpin about getting the part. They replied right away, which is good to know. They said the additional frame support isn't needed for the Mule. I'm guessing the previous owner of your setup might have had it on something that did need it, like an ATV. I'm thinking I might add that support later on.
Thanks again and look forward to your updates.
