Great informative video content! Very easy unboxing & installment segment. Just a suggestion, maybe next time, get a before & after sound clip of a mod. Thanks again for all you do making your videos I look forward to seeing your future videos. Stay safe!
Nice video and clean engine. Marketing is awesome on these aftermarket intakes, unfortunately you gain little if any performance, but they do make the engine look cool.
I really like the way you make unboxing all the parts so ho-hum. Hahaha. Thanks for the video. P.S. Much better scenery around your house than Mike's. Just saying.
Sucks that people never call out the companies for their marketing schemes(usually once a person lies, they destroy peoples trust. Not when it comes to car part claims though) I believe many reputable shops dyno'd well- known intakes and shows proof of maybe 5whp versus a drop in filter like BMC or K&N, and that's after a tune. Either way, I just purchased an AFE intake for my m4 as well. The price is right compared to other brands, and I prefer the heatshield that comes with AFE's setup. and if I gain 5whp throughout my power band, that'd be nice lol
I had planned on putting it in the dyno before and after each mod. I did a Dinantronics stage 2 and the AFE exhaust. Only got on the dyno once and it was before the exhaust, here is the video. ruclips.net/video/G3mkqS_2ATk/видео.html
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS No l don't own one but l like them a lot. A nice change from American muscle at the price point with BMW quality. A manual would be nice but otherwise hard to fault.
Thinking about getting this.. Is the performance differential substantial? I have the MPE so I'm wondering if the sound will also have a drastic difference.
It's a quality piece but my plan was to hit the dyno before and after the install so I could document the HP difference. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. AFE claims 25hp and 23lbxft and I have no reason to doubt that. As far as sound goes, there is a difference but being a closed box design, is not huge unless you have the hood open. I liked this design the best because it is sealed but you have easy access to the filters. Thanks for watching!
Unfortunately, I was unable to get on the dyno with the car in stock form. With the aFe intake and Dinan stage 2 it put down 476hp to the wheels. The exhaust should have added another 15 hp. I have a video of the dyno runs on my channel, check it out.
Was. Pain to install because beemer makes you take off a million pieces to get to one place but only took 40 mins… man I miss The good all days were an intake will take five minutes and a chip would take 15
This video was not up to your standards, Mike. During the installation I had to imagine what you were doing because of the lighting. Sorry for raging you on this but I know you can do better and Now I'm sure you will.
I agree, the lighting was sub par. This was the first time filming an install in my home garage. I already bought some more lights for next time. Also, my name is Brian not Mike.
Nice bro!! Loving the additional speed you're getting 💪🏾
Your channel is growing great to see
Wow now beginning the upgrade for M power. Cheers Brian

Hope they make an intake for the new Supra.
I really like these intakes.
AFE does make a closed box design intake for the Supra. Do yo own a Supra? I f so, how do you like it?

Is the sound improvement noticeable
Just slightly on the inside. More so on the out side of the vehicle.
