In this video I answer a question I get on my stream frequently - what is the best mobility, resilience and recovery in Destiny 2 lightfall? I discuss the best levels of mobility, resilience and recovery for your build in destiny 2 and how to decide and prioritize which mobility, resilience and recovery you want in Destiny 2 Lightfall.

Monarque has been stupid for literally as long as I can remember.
@Kinesis black armory really added two of the most annoying exotics to date, jotunn and le monarque, like 4 years ago and they're still a problem(jotunn not as much anymore)

@@KinesisXBL things that are annoying can be considered problems.
For Arc I run 70 recovery even for my warlock, because spark of recharge gives you more ability back if you stay in critical health for longer but thanks to spark of haste (gives you +30 recovery,mobility and resilience when sprinting) you can actually control your stats and their recharge.
The 5-8-10 markers for recovery is a nice benchmark! Thanks for that
Not a huge issue, but worth noting that 100 resil allows you to survive the Round Robin + KC two tap
Its gonna save you fro like one pellet or one bullet. But recovery keeps you in the fight more often and noone can just push and clean you up because you're already regening. Recovery always for pvp
@@theMerovingianMan Doesn’t change how right he is, plus it’s easy to compensate for recovery. Solar and Arc for example can get you additional recovery for either killing with a solar weapon or sprinting.
Void fully depends one what exotic your running in your hunter.
Stasis, depends on if you are freezing enemies often.
@@TheLegendaryLegacy uhm it actually does. You will never see a pvp pro running anything more than 3 resil. 4 max. Do your homework. 9 recovery though always.

All I said was the guy was still right, and that depending on what you run you can use less recovery and compensate for it with mods and other perks. But go off. Not to mention Drewsky has a build with less than 9 recovery, but I guess you’re clearly better than him too.

Now that Resilience has Anti-Flinch I'd prefer if HP was normalized in PVP.

No flinch on some guns are nonexistent this wouldent balance anything

Ty for the breakdown. My current build uses graviton forfeit and rose to get close to 10 in all three, but its definitely something to think about when I go to use different ones.
How is it close to 10 in all?

I don't care what people say, 10 recovery is a must have. I can't even count the amount of time I regain my hp,then get shot living with like 5 hp..
But I farmed armor like, farmed farmed armor. Warlock is a beast stats 100 gernade 100 melee and 100 recovery and 70 resistance 31 mobility and 30 super..
If only powerful and radiant light still add stats.... can imagine I'll go back to my old armor and use plus 3.. on super. Get
50 mobility
70 resistance
100 recovery
100 gernade
70 super
And 100 strength

4:25 In season 23, I’m rocking 30 resil on my hunter and PVP sucks. Thorn is way more oppressive after the recent buffs and it makes it easier for people to just 2 head 1 body with thorn. I had to Tune my build and I managed to get 10-6-9-3-10-1 on solar sub class only. You say resilence from 2-7 is huge and I was wondering if 90 recovery is viable or just lower my recovery to 80 and put on a resil mod for 70 resil instead.
I think I’m still gonna go for 8 résilience for when I’m out of optimal range.
Would it be possible to get a video about the hunter build you had at the end with trick sleeves that looked quite interesting
I feel maybe they should take mobility out because it’s not very useful overall besides maybe pvp for strafe but even still not all too good when other stats are just better.
They should rework stats and give all classes 50 mobility base (hidden from armor stats) and just tie classes abilities like rift shield and dodge to intellect instead.
I think there are some notable cheese loadouts that only 10 resilience survives. What are your thoughts on that?
Right now they aren't common enough for me to invest in, but I think that's completely dependent on your character. Most of these values are meant to be the most min/maxed, "best bang for your buck" - so for me playing hunter, its probably not realistic for me to give up mobility/recovery too much for the resilience, but for a titan, its guaranteed. For warlock, it could go either way based on preference. For the niche cheese builds as well, I think there's a personal part of how much those things may bother you in gameplay, because then it may feel worthwhile to counter them.
@@drewskyschannel Fair enough. I used to sit at 7 back before the changes, but with the addition of flinch resistance I felt going to 10 was worth it. Getting to avoid the "just barely 200 damage" cheese loadouts was icing, but now that I've been using 10 resilience long enough it just doesn't feel like it's worth much more than 7 or 8.
That does mean I have to remake all my builds. Again. Just in time for Bungie to change it all next year anyway.

7 mobility is the breakpoint for tracking projectiles I.e. a shrieker...
10 resilience is still good for PvE & PvP
As 9 recovery is suitable in case triple 100's is out of reach for you...

Bungie needs to rework Mobility already or come up with a solution. It's not fair at all that Titans and Warlocks get to ignore mobility completely while Hunters have to actually worry about recovery and resilience breakpoints
Just run triple 100 mob/res/recov
@@jefftraboulsy8631 You cant run triple 10's in the same tree of stats (ie the top three or bottom three) as per the way stats are divided. I think the highest I've ever got has been 100 mob, 100 resil, and 60 rec. It might be possible to get a little higher? but not by much

Hunters should always have 100 mobility…. We don’t have rifts or wells. Or barriers… we got to really on being able to dodge and avoid getting hit. While hitting

I got very lucky with a bunch of great legendary armor drops over the years that I kept, but as a hunter main I was able to get 8 mob 8 res and 8 recov on a bunch of different builds
Er, are you sure about Le Monarque being lightweight? Everything else about it performs like a precision bow. (684ms draw time). I know Ticcu's is, but I am not sure LM is.
Lem is lightweight
It isn't that the archetype matches the lightweight bow profile, it just gives the lightweight bonus of +2 tiers of mobility and increased sprint speed

Everything said in this video is entirely opinion based. Everyone should be running 100 resilience in PvP AND PvE, and 100 recovery as well. On all classes.

Does mobility apply to hip fire strafe speed or just ADS speed?
When u ads u get a movement penalty so mobility does affect ur hipfire. If you mean are you still faster when u afs with different tiers I think so iirc
It applies to both, just showed ADS as its a bit more practical. ADS is just a movement speed penalty, but some weapons (SMGs, sidearms) have unique modifiers.
ive always liked 100 mobil 80 resil and 70~80 recov and then the rest goes into grenade and melee
Good luck getting all three of those at the same time that high based on how stats roll. Not saying you can't but I can only get 100/80/60 and I keep a ton of armor for builds.

I like how rec and res are kinda necessary in PVP and are part of Titan and Warlock base kit. Mobility isnt needed in PVP and Hunters need to build Mobility, a useless stat.
For pvp what is best on titan? 8 res 8 rec?
You should have 100 resilience in general. Barricade is way too strong not to have it as often as possible.
10 res no less than 8 recov
Imagine not running 100 res with thruster instead of barricade. Fuck barricades.
@@jefftraboulsy8631 thruster isn't even half as good as barricade. Barricade gets you a free rez, heavy ammo pull, on demand cover, forces entire teams to play around it, and if someone accidentally touches it it's free kill. Thrusters is just a Walmart icarus dash.
@Cody Walker bro no shot. It doesn't even do ONE of those things you said. At BEST it'll do like a third of one of those things. I'll take Thruster to farm ability energy for abilities that are actually useful. Literally barricades are trash and anyone with a brain can destroy the false hopes and dreams that your paper thin wall provides you.
Can a warlock run high mobility?
You could - but remember that will cost resilience, which right now is pretty useful at 7. So maybe go as much mobility as you can after 10 recov 7 res?

If they do not do something about mobility being useless for warlocks/titans, I think more and more people will be abandoning the hunter class. Powerful friends was a patch that they got rid of, and lightweights are just not a solution. When everyone spams grenades with 100 resilience, hunters are stuck with 100mob - 100rec and everything else around 50 at best.
Mobility has to give more as a stat. Or nerf titan/warlock movement so that they need it. Also, enough with the spam scroll key skating on high fps.
