it's breathtaking to see him dance. He seems suspended for infinity for every jump. Looking at his elevation, i'm totally ashamed of my grand jete en tournant.
Oh, I recognize this! This is the doc on Misha when he became the Artistic Director of the American Ballet Theatre just after he left the New York City Ballet following Balanchine's death. Well, he was the star of A.B.T. He was the star pretty much everywhere he dared to go. I heard he asked Shirley MacLaine herself to narrate this thing for him. Hey, thanks for uploading. Misha was always an icon. But just about everyone we see on-camera were legends, Gods at what they did.
@kontact666 Little do you know! Misha was a stud in the Ballet world ! He 's had more women in a week than you had in a lifetime. Your jealousy won't get you laid pal !
Watching him practice backstage in the studio is like literally watching the seeds of genius starting to bud, grow and bloom...
I watched him today in Novi Sad, Serbia.
61 years old and still elegant as ever...I couldn't believe it, but he is amazing...best ever!!!
He is so elegant and controlled, he's just a joy to look at.
those are the best switch leaps I've ever ever ever seen in my life and that includes gymnasts who have those springy floors to help them
I wonder how it feels to be able to turn so many pirouettes and jump high like that. It must be an amazing feeling !!!
Indeed, something beyond belief.
There will never be another dancer quite like Misha - is is truly special!!
