Barracuda at Castaway Cay

I made the possibly foolish decision to approach a 3-foot-ish barracuda around ten yards from shore in the adults area of Castaway Cay in May 2013. I wanted to see it from the front, so I gave it a pretty wide berth to keep from scaring it off. I'm not as close as the camera makes me look; the focal length of the Panasonic Lumix DMC TS3 is long compared to most hand-helds. Unfortunately, this also means the footage is a tad shaky. I apologize. It did freak me out when it appeared to turn toward me, hence the manly, high-pitched burbling. :D

That's Barry the Barracuda! No need to worry though, he's only bitten a couple handfuls of guests over time. 💀
