Constellations is their best. They had the heaviness of Messengers but they advanced so much in song/writing, Matt’s drumming and JB’s guitar and they had something to prove. That whole album is incredible.

I don’t see too many people saying this, but I agree! Found in Far Away Places is my favorite or theirs. I love the experimentation on it, the riffs, and a healthy track list.

Messengers and Constellations are their two universally loved albums, my personal favorite is Rescue & Restore though.
After being fan for a long time, this feels really refreshing to me while also still holding true to their own sound. Like u said its way more progressive than lets say their last album ( Guardians ) which was also super good, heavy, great breakdowns left and right. But this as a whole album felt more like a mature and musically better experience, like 1 or 2 big songs with that small interlude in the middle. For me a really great album from an amazing band of muscicians. Messengers or Constellations is them at peak metalcore side but I like how they have evolved little by little to a more melodic progressive sound ( which is still HEAVY AF )

Man…. Tough to say bro. I would need to really take some time to think about it. But right here right now I am leaning towards Constellations. What that album achieved at that time was unbelievable. It was so important to the history of music. Found in Faraway Places, Phantom Anthem and Guardians are all soo good though. Truly incredible. Let’s just be grateful that a bands as amazing as this exists and we get to enjoy them. Cheers homie 💯

After letting it run its course since it came out, this is my favourite album from ABR by a long shot. It’s SO progressive, these guys are the best at their instruments they have ever been. Front to back you are so right, what a crazy experience.

I've never been able to get into this band. But this album is different! They have my attention now!

Man, if I had to pick a favourite album is has to be Rescue & Restore. But if I had to pick their best, it has got to be Found In Far Away Places.

Dark Divide has to be my favorite in this album, and since everyone is saying their favorite ABR album mine is Leveler, my favorite songs in Leveler being Pangea and Carpe Diem.
Personally, my favorite album of them is Phantom Anthem, but Constellations is a must listen.
This album is still one of the best albums in the genre.
Fun fact: Messengers and Constellations were one of those albums that had a huge influence on the metalcore scene at the time, especially the breakdowns. They basically invented that type of breakdown.

Honestly ABR albums are always a 10/10 for me but this one didnt blow me away except for a couple tracks. Best ABR albums in my opinion are Phantom Anthem, Messengers and Constellations. All 10/10 albums.
I feel like FFAP was a turning point for em. In my head ABR have 2 slightly different sounds: the first is "pre FFAP" and the other is "FFAP onwards"

Fair warning, the more you go into abr's discography, the more you'll get people complaining that they've sounded the same for fifteen years or whatever. They have a style, they have an established sound, they likely enjoy making it, and a good number of fans enjoy listening.
Those complaining are the same kind of people to be upset that a burger place doesn't have pizzas on the menu

Personally, the guitar harmonics remind me of Mudshovel by Staind. Also, this is possibly my favorite track from the album as well 🤘🏻
Edit: I have found that ABR is one band that a vast majority of fans all have different opinions on what their best album is. I think that speaks volumes to just how good these guys are at what they do. I personally love Found In Far Away Places!

Constellation is probably their most representative album, but my favourite will always be leveler.

Messengers and Constellations are ABR at their peak.
Love Messengers and Guardians but for me it's a stretch to even say they're top 5.
Today I'll go Constellations (2009) & Phantom Anthem (2017), but swap either of those with any of the 3 albums they dropped between 2011-2015 and I'm not arguing.
Big ABR fan as they are from my local area, but this album admittedly does not have many "bangers" in the sense that they're instant concert/playlist hits. But, I think it's their most artistic album to date, and considering they get flak for "sounding the same" after 20 years, I hope people give them some credit for that.
Also, Messenger and Constellations are usually the albums people say are the best, but I honestly think its nostalgic cope and imo Phantom Anthem is their best.
messengers is the best ABR album in my opinion. Constellations is a close 2nd. This album is enjoyable so far, but I have not been the biggest fan of the past couple albums as much.
I think this is a contender to be their best album, the quality is insane and they've done something new this time, but that's just my opinion

I'm surprised at how many people say Phantom Anthem or R&R were their favourite albums. I've been a fan of ABR for like 15 years and I basically skipped those 2 albums.
I've given both albums a couple tries each (not all songs, I normally listen to 3 or 4 and decide whether or not I like the album based on that) and wasn't a fan even after the 2nd go.
I had to do them like at least 10 times, same as found in far away places.. and even death below. Now these are all my current abr favs, so weird.. literally hated them. Then something switched or clicked, music's weird like that

Messengers is deff their heaviest, for me, constelations has some of the most "emotional" feel and found in far away places is deff when got alot more prog influence, probably the most consistent band in the whole metal genre, i couldnt point you to a bad album

Before Death below I think I would've said their BEST album is imo either Constellations (for sure!) or Guardians! But now with that new album I must say Death Below comes for me even higher than Guardians, so now it's either Death below or (still) Constellations! Haha
