Picquic has been known for really high quality tool steel for the bits they use. I use the exact same one you showed at my work that has been used for 20 years to change rack mounted audio video equipment. It's also the only multi-bit screw driver I know of that mimics a real screw driver in the sense it stores the bits but they are long giving the reach of a normal screw driver. I ordered one after liking it so much at work and I also bought a Robertson and Philips #3 bits from them just to complete the set in case I need those sizes ever. I own a few Husky and Dewalt multi-bit screwdrivers and they use the shorter 1" bits that store either in a bit tray or in the handle. Its always a pain to carry bits separately or deal with them rattling around unorganized in the handle so I am not as much of a fan of that for everyday use and the reach can be an issue. I'm putting together a small Maxpedition tool kit for the glove box in my car and I'm looking for a compact but capable multi-bit for that. It seems there are either full size screwdrivers or really small precision sizes and not much in the mid size. There are many options if I got a stubby but I want a more full screwdriver. Picquic has the Multique which is a skinny smaller version that uses 3/16" bits to save space. I'm leaning towards that as one of the only rare options in the mid size that still has real screw driver capability.

Love the Picquic. Affordable enough to keep one everywhere. The universal bits are great too. I used to swap in company supplied bits all the time.

I use Klein tools almost exclusively, I have the insulated drivers with the same type of handles, I bought them as separates, very expensive ( about £230 for 5 ) not the cheaper ones sold in a set. I have the stubby version of this unit, and the slimline version too, both have 4 separate sizes, 2 x Phillips head and 2 x slotted heads on each one. I’m going to buy this version to complete my set, they’ve been working well for me, very durable and so easy and quick to change too.
I was considering a full change over to Wera, as they seem to be the preferred manufacturer of choice for engineers who spend out decent money on their tool kits these days, their Zyklops ratchet set looks great, but I think I’ll stick to the Klein with Bahco and Knipex to fill in the gaps................

So are you talking about multibit screwdrivers or a 7-in-one?... because some of them will have your 5/16 and 1/4 drive in the shaft and also have some driver bits... some do not have the socket feature only bits...those are bit drivers... not like a 7-in-1
I have many different bit drivers but the Husky I got from Home Depot over 12 years ago is still to go to that thing is buttery smooth and works great

What little wiring I done, square drive works best on outlets, #2 and #1, along with philups and flate blade, but the PICQUIC brand dont have #1 square drive, Kline and Milwaukee does.......

Check out the Megapro 15- in-1, its the swiss knife of screwdrivers. I had my Megapro for over 20 years still going strong no broken or dropped bits, i use it almost every day.

Disagree with you one one thing
Its very good driver however when you use it you feel always bits from both ends !!!
This quick one is not like that you dont feel at all

I used a wiha rachet screwdriver, one problem is the bits are too short, there are several occasions on my job where the shank isn't able to fit into a small gap. I think the picquic will solve my dilemma

I’ve heard that the Wera multi driver is prone to the locking mechanism failing and opening after slight impact. Have you experienced this at all?

Never seen that milwaukee ever.. Milwaukee makes one that's EXACTLY the same as Klein, except the handle is different, and it's half the price
