The best cannabis is grown hands on and not by a computer and especially not by ppl who don’t even smoke cannabis if your after a product just for the money your not even about the product which is why black market will forever be king
that's so true i'm lmao!!! The money they put in to growing virtual reefer is insane. Sadly, many in the later generations never got to experience true & magical cannabis. And, again i'm reminded of what's called "opioid epidemic" caused by synthesizing poppy resin. Real opium didn't cause this "epidemic".
You have no idea what you are talking about. You said all that just to say the "black" market is king. Keep smoking your untested & unregulated mystery packs.
Medical marijuana is way better because you know what you smoking. You ever wondered how many times you smoked expired weed???? U will never know because it's not shown. U prob smoking 14%thc expired weed and u will never know because it looks like and smells like zaa😂😂😂😂 medical is 100% wat u smoking
This is the first episode since Season 1 that I have learned something new when it comes to growing. The talk about the overuse of fertilizers, and plants needing nitrogen to mature was fantastic!
Killer bro! We are so glad you like that. That was a science drop for sure! Andras and Paavo take this stuff very seriously. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe if you get a chance. It's free ;)
20:35 As observed for cannabinoids, terpenoid production increases with light exposure, but decreases with soil fertility (Langenheim, 1994), and this is supported by the glasshouse experience that demonstrates higher yields if plants experience relative nitrogen lack just prior to harvest (Potter, 2004), favouring floral over foliar growth.
Absolutely correct. Can just check a feeding chart from most any reputable companies and can see that nitrogen needs to be pulled at end of flower. That’s why Athena for example has fade that you can 100% switch to to eliminate N at end of flower.
Also a former baker here that transferred over to the cannabis side! One of my co workers says she thinks the bakers and restaurant workers do so well in cannabis because we know how to work! That a lot of people come in not realizing what it takes to run any sizeable grow! nothing sustainable about rockwool and synthetic nutrients... sustainable agriculture is cultivating in living soil that is reused every season and amended with natural inputs. Dramatically Increase quality and decrease expenses with living soil
The rockwool and synthetics can allow them perfect control over everything using the computers. The end game is growing as much THC for as little cost with near perfect consistency. Big business in CA cannabis market is turning everything into material for cartridge's.
@@DrDabb47 yes that is not a good thing which is why I am here talking shit on the video showcasing it. also you can have the same control over a living soil facility but they do not know that yet because they just do whatever the consultant taught them to do when they opened up. This is so cool, but also sad to see the art and love to the plant getting lost. Seeing Cannabis getting treated more and more like something that goes on an assembly line
@@TheGrowBros Yeah in an ideal world, but not everyone has the time, knowledge or facilities to grow their own. As large scale facilities go, this is one of the better that I've seen.

The DC District Cannabis looks, smells and tastes noticeably better than that of their Maryland products which is odd considering they aren’t but a jump skip and hop away from each other. They still have a lot of labor. How do you think all those plants get lolly popped. Then you saw all the people that were trimming the buds. They still have a huge labor cost.
I have a question. How much co2 is being contributed by the cannabis industry? I mean most run Co2 setups to let co2 out in the atmosphere and certainly not all of it is absorbed by the plant? Just asking.
If it was grown in living soil beds in a regenerative way it would be zero. Getting carbon from the soil is way more effecient. Also, the flowers would be way more fragrant because of the direct correlation of the microbes and the plant communicating. There is no way to get the terps you can get growing in large beds with lots of microbes. Wool grown with chemicals equals boof just like produce grown in dead soil fed chemicals is crap and lacking nutrients.
Plants breathe CO2 and basically exhale oxygen in return. During prehistoric times, there were CO2 levels at 4x what we have now (with no humans present) and we know that there were vast and lush jungles and forests covering the planet. The Tonga volcano eruption put more CO2 in the air than the whole US does in a year. The idea that man can control the climate of the earth by reducing our CO2 output is misguided. The climate has always been changing, because it's controlled by solar cycles of the Sun. We are just finishing a "solar maximum" and are now headed for a "solar minimum", where the earth is going into a cooling phase. Pretty cool and all but having billion dollar companies doing this instead of the original growers that money pushed out kills the culture. I'll never buy from a dispensary. These people are ruining our culture.
The prices at the moment dont justify this type of investment... some dude can grow full term under very basic multispan greenhouses organically and come in with strains that take longer to finish flower at a fraction of the price
