  • Simply building a brand is not enough - to thrive & prosper it must withstand trends while ingraining itself into the lives of customers. Kevin Zinger's SRH Clothing & Suburban Noize Records have been, and continue to be, a model for lifestyle branding since the days when Sublime rocked backyard parties. In fact those So Cal ska pioneers played early SRH shows with other legends like 311, Pennywise & The Offspring. Ever since, countless artists & athletes have worn the SRH spade or repped Suburban Noize. Kevin talks about how it came to be, the heartbreak & bank break of lawsuits, and his inspiring father who taught him the power of hypnosis.

he says supporting the ass hat who killed the label and lost its Distributor unable to secure another because his actions made him unprofessional and untouchable to Legit Business's .
KMK were at it forever and are in their 50's now lets hope they changed for fuck sakes
nobody in life is the same as they were in their teens and those who say they are ,
      They're Liars and Fools .
this ass hat destroyed a legacy
if he wasnt the probably then the label wouldnt have fell to ribbons when Daddy X packed up his Crew and left.
since then their website is basically a ghost town just missing tumble weed.

suburban noize had a good thing going...with acts like KMK, big b, phunk junkeez, too rude and DIRTBALL it seemed like they had a certain vibe that they owned. I mean I bought anything with subnoize on it for almost 8 years. I mean fans of these bands tattooed the SRH and the space forever on their bodies. then , don't get me wrong I don't hate these bands ,just their vibe is like a 360 from the sub-noize sound I craved, bands like LA coca nostra and swollen members washed up on subnoize shores, I was buying a lot of hard core rap acts that I did not enjoy that much, just to keep up with my sub noize collection and while I always enjoyed all the KMK ,big b and hed p.e. albums but icould not keep buying potluck, SM, LCN,albums because I really didn't enjoy their product that much...the downfall of subnoize is the executives tried to branch out to far and they watered down the product and generally the overall vibe of the label...I just hope the peace can be made and KMK, big b ,opm, DIRTBALL,too rude, hed pe. can reunite and reignight the vibe that subnoize owned....

I'm a KMK/SubNoize/SRH fan... But if as Kevin says... "right is right, and wrong is wrong"... and Kevin was allegedly right... Why is subnoize.com redirecting to a hifi247.com/ subdomain? The whole .com is basically a generic webstore on the level of bigcartel or etsy... Seems to me he must've lost because SubNoize seems to have dissolved... and if only KMK left, the label should have continued... Not saying KMK was right or taking sides in anyway... just observing the apparent aftermath of the fallout... I miss the subnoize golden years... Sadface

Siding with Zinger when it comes to this is like siding with Comiskey when it comes to the 1919 World Series scandal. I can't help but side with the talent; the players on the field count way more than the money & management guys. Zinger is a business man, and nobody relates to him. He was never crucial. There would have been other business guys. Without Zinger, KMK would have still happened, no doubt. He's laughing about this, he loves his lawyers. Does he have true pals? Does he know love? Passion connected to money is not passion. I'm a degenerate gambler. Money is not real. Evil is real. Malevolence is real.
