Maybe the issue was the throttle body gasket not being replaced the last time it was taken apart and cleaned? You mentioned it looked like it might have been cleaned recently. Maybe the last time they cleaned it they did not replace with a new gasket and it leaked causing the vibrations. When you replaced with a new gasket it was sealed and improved the vibration?
If I am correct, on the 03 & 04 Tacoma 3.4l engines. The IAC is built into the throttle body and is not replaceable like it is on the 95 to 02 3.4l engines. If it goes bad you have to replace whole throttle body.
@@PracticalEnthusiast hey thanks for the reply, took to auto zone for free Diagnoses, plug#2 was Wet with Moisture, dried it out and runs like new , thanks .

Dude! Thank you. I couldn’t figure out what I needed to do. Thanks!!
Try cleaning or replacing your IAC? If this engine contains a separate one like most Hondas do. They're usually on the back of the intake manifold.

if an IAC valve is attached....clean it,too
In your best opinion do you think it was medal gasket????
Because I have same symptoms, vibration and trying to stall under load in Geer at Stop
It sounds like you may have a vacuum leak. It could be from the throttle body gasket, but more likely from a vacuum hose.

It was the gasket. They are one time use ONLY. Do not be fooled.

Regular Italian tune up will help to avoid having to do this.
Okay I’ll bite 😅 is there an Italian Tune up or is that just when you challenge Rocky Balboa to a fight?
