Good idea for a video but need to follow it through, like how are you attaching it to the main line and does the knot disturb casting.

Just gone back to when I was a kid, that's exactly how we carried our tackle in the 50's 😏

, hi Steve, what knot do you use to tie the waggler rig to the main line ? Does the knot interfere with sinking the line.

Should of shown us how he connects to main line because no one else seems to be doing this and it seems like a really good idea

How would you connect to the main line?

Good question, the norm for this method is too have a small loop on the waggler rig like you would a pole rig. Then on your reel line make a loop big enough to fit over the winder. Pull a few inch off the the winder and thread the main line loop through the rig loop then pull the winder through the mainline loop (loop to loop attachment like a hooklength) then unravel the winder and your ready to go 👍🏻

Don't want to sound stupid but does this mean it's a 13foot hook length

I recently moved and, frankly, at my location here just isn't any decent freshwater, only salt, which I never fished before. I loved coarse fishing, the fine tackle, the subtle bites. Finesse fishing provides more adrenaline and attention to detail (also less bites and smaller fish). Right now there is garshish (Belone) run: you can mechanically pull a 500g-1kg fish every other cast, I've been working the 4m rod with 80g jig so much, i'm getting a pump: it's like a workout! You can really harvest fish at sea. I've been using my freshwater feeder for catching flatfish from pier, but.. everything is so rugged and oversized, 0.35mm line is almost the thinnest you will see.. Sea lacks the adrenaline and mental side of things, it's very physical.
