Wow, you read the whole description...That's so hot. Развлечения
The 2 homeless guys are from Eddie’s movie Trading Places. There’s a direct connection.
They don’t deserve the money
The dukes
@@toyota420xpThey were rich millionaires in TRADING PLACES.
A non-story. I met the women @19:05 when i was a teenager 20 years ago. She was pleased that someone so young at the time recognized her.
James Earl Jones and Madge Sinclair (Akeem's parents) are also a couple on The Lion King as the voices of Mufasa and Sarabi
The man who played Stu (the guy who threw himself down the stairs to avoid paying rent) is Eddie Murphy's uncle Ray!
James Earl Jones w/ the lion sash - awesome foreshadowing 😁
The old white guy in the barber shop was also played by Eddie Murphy
Great Fun Reaction Guys!! I enjoyed you both! I just subscribed!! 👍🏿
1. They killed the multiple roles.
2. The appearance of the Dukes is an "Easter egg" from "Trading Places".
3. James Earl Jones AND John Amos! GMAFB😎😎😁
4. A movie featuring John Amos worth a first time/share is "The Beastmaster".
5. "Coming two America" is OK, but that's about it.
the two old homeless men on the street he give the money to was the two rich men in the movie Trading Places and Cuba Gooding Jr. was the young man in the chair in the barbershop
Imagine this movie doing an X-Over with the MCU's Black Panther. Zamunda being a border neighbor of Wakanda and the reason that their country's rich with gold is because they're the front to Wakanda's trades for any transactions to the outside world. With Vibranium being more valuable than gold, all of the gold that Wakanda dug out from their mines got traded to Zamunda. There were a lot of Black American actors that felt they missed out a big part of black movie history with not being a part of the Black Panther cast. If Chadwick Boseman didn't die, this x-over idea would had been a good excuse for all of those actors from this movie that wanted to be part of the Black Panther movie to make their characters relevant. Also this is from the mid 1980s not over a decade ago. So far this is the earliest movie that had Samuel Jackson in it. Also you missed the easter egg connection X-Over Eddie Murphy movie(Trading Places) with the homeless brothers.
Keep it up guys. I LOVE THIS MOVIE.
The reason they weren't sued by McDonald's is because they tried to get permission from McDonald's put a McDonald's in the move. They declined but allowed them to use McDowell's but still made them pay ton of money
The movies before the 80's are pure classics too ... Much better than most of the crap that's served up today.
Eddie Murphy is also playing the white Jewish man in the barbarshop.
I thought that was Billy Crystal
Bro no. It doesn't even look like billy. Eddie and arsenio play the majority of characters. @@ckobo84
9:54 - That's done with a "star filter", which is just a piece of flat optical glass with fine etchings made to flare strong point sources. This particular one is a 4-star filter (it makes a cross - you can usually rotate them to make an X or whatever in between), but there are 6-star, 8-star, etc. It was an easy way to add a 'dreamy' feel to a scene, or, like in this case, just as a special effect. But oldschool. Because there was no CGI.
James Earl Jones had a pretty bad speech impediment. The manner in which he speaks is a result of him working to get rid of his speech impediment.
He took up Shakespearean Theatre in High School to overcome his stuttering issues. He starred on Broadway in Othello
The kid in the barber shop is a young Cuba Gooding Jr.
The costume designer for did the costumes for both Black panther movies and won an Oscar for best costume design for the first black panther movie
Rebekah's voice🥰 so cute.
The actor who played Animal Mother is Adam Baldwin. He doesn't make a bad movie! His first, i think he was a teenager in the movie, my bodyguard, a fantastic movie!
Eddie Murphy was 26 years old when he shot this film!
The two bums who he gave pocket change to were the brothers from Trading Places, that starred Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd.
John amos turned into james evans after he went off on the king about his daughter lol
Notice a very young Cuba Gooding Jr getting his haircut in the barber chair.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
She’s so cute
The how - i would say the parents.
Ugh, avoid that cash grab sequel by any means necessary!!! Yeesh! (You know a movie is bad when they state that sequels in movies are hardly ever as good as the original & I think they mention that they're made for the money.)
Yes the sequel wasn’t very good at all. I was really disappointed.
I love the overalls. And the red outfit match her beautiful hair and face.
Wow, thank you! :)
Looks like you guys missed Trading Places before this one.
15:27: Darth Vader is coming to retrieve his son
Intelligent and insightful reaction; you two are really good together! Subbed.
Much appreciated!
Eddie was around 30 when this came out....28,29
He was born in 1961. The movie was released in 1988.
27/28-ish
You cut too much out of this movie😊
Are you a couple...or married?❤
Hey guys I'm a new subscriber I have a movie A Thin Line Betweem love & Hate 😊
Thanks for watching with us! We'll have to look into it!
@@ClickPlayNowReactionsReviews no worries you won't be disappointed also try hellbound it's a scary Japanese series or you can try vampire in Brooklyn starring Eddie Murphy a great 90s classic. Or you can try tales from the Hood also scary movie but try everything in line between love and hate LOL
You're right the ending does seemed rushed. Their relationship doesn't seemed earned in the end. Which made me think of one of the biggest 80s movies, maybe the biggest, "Crocodile Dundee"(1986). That movie has an ending that feels so earned you completely believe the 2 are in love.
Crocodile Dundee far from the biggest 80s movie when Star Wars,Indiana Jones,E.T and Batman were in the 80s
@@Kickinthescience It's the most 80s.
Why are so many reactors watching this before Trading Places. Who is giving them this bad advice!
