On behalf of Boromir just showing up: I think in the books Elrond speaks pretty "plainly" about all the people that are here are gathered by a higher power. That this is not a mere chance meeting, but everyone here must find a way because they are "chosen". At least that is how I always took it. :D
I remember that eomer issue it definitely didn’t come with a horse it just came with a standard 28mm base... I remember it well cos it stood out as it was strange but my dad called diagostini and they said it was a production error and that the horse will be supplied with the next issue... it deffo happened.... trust
