    Do you have any tips on how to do this using the app on your phone? I'm currently doing some sketches on my Samsung note 9 and the settings look much different to this :(

    Still a bit confused, is there a way to make a drawing less blurry when you zoom in through resolution? I raised my resolution and my drawing was still pretty blurry when I zoomed in. Is there anyway to fix it or is it just the program itself?

    Is SketchBook Pro different than the regular Sketchbook?

    Autodesk, what is the reason you smooth the whole image? I want to see pixels when I zoom, not a blurry mess, please, make a an option to stop smoothing canvas, the same way like you stop blurring when the canvas is moved. Please.. PS: Pan/zoom with this auto opening wheel is funky and irritating at the same time, I have become sick and tired of it after ten minutes of usage

    still suggest that canvas size on a Surface Pro 3? I was struggling with trying to find a size to fit in the 12" screen that feels correct. The SP3 is currently my drawing device exclusively.

    heeeey just been watching your tutorials and I love your artwork so much & you are teaching me loads so thank you. One thing I haven't seen in a video yet & it's something very small that I am having trouble with. I can't seem to get a transparent background to then be able to use my artwork on a tshirt. I am obviously being very dumb lol but help would be greatly appreciated X'D

      You just need to have an empty layer beneath your line art. And then erase out all of the white or other colors that you want to be transparent from the layer with the artwork on it.

    Hey Trent ,
    I picked up sketchbook pro recently. It looked like a pretty light weight program that specialized in art, i grabbed it cause it looked like you where having a blast with it. I really like the way the program works so far but i'm having one issue. I'm using a wacom. I zoom in to an area to really get in some detail and after a few strokes my image un-zooms and recenters where i started on the screen. Is there a way i can fix the position? Please help!
    Thanks for your time, Will.

      Could be a configuration issue with your wacom and the program

      @LlamaFreak , So uninstall/reinstall Wacom drivers or uninstall/reinstall both?

  • @zuljaras

    I tried it but it has one big problem. No matter how high your resolution is when you zoom in to see fine details everything is blurred. And the creators does NOT want to fix that.

      Right. Sketchbook Pro is not for pixel art.

    very helpful vid Trent thanks! love these sketchbook pro tutorials, as even though I've been using it for a while it's so easy to miss the basics! if you ever have the time, it would be great to get your opinion of my recent work? I used to work traditionally as a freelance artist for really boring school books, had a few years off working in QA for games and really want get back into the art industry. I found sketchbook pro to be the most intuitive and accessible software out there and now use it exclusively. Anyway if you find the time its vanmorrisman on deviantart. cheers my friend, you have made me excited about my art again after many years out of it and I appreciate that massively! 😁

    • @andrewmorris2958
      @andrewmorris2958 7 лет назад

      A Dick Production hey, yeah on Deviantart only at the moment, but when I get enough quality work I'm planning getting a dedicated site going. Really hard to gauge if my work is good enough to put out there though?

    • @andrewmorris2958
      @andrewmorris2958 7 лет назад

      A Dick Production, I wish you the best of luck mate and hope you succeed in your art! I find Trents videos so super helpful, not just for techniques, but probably more so for the positive state of mind I have from seeing him genuinely enjoying his art. 😊
