it would be franchise suicide..however i still have hope that will not happen because the russos have said in interviews that endgame is supposed to be a love letter to the originals which is why they were all chosen to be kept alive from dusting. They are supposed to have their big swan song before exiting. Unless they lied to not scare people away I have faith captain marvel will not ruin endgame. Grace Randolf said in her review that credit scene which will be a scene in endgame shows a much more nuanced performance from Larson so I have no doubt that the Russo's forced her to do better for their movie.

SPOILER ahead- she doesn’t, she actually gets her ass beat by thanos and he drains most of her power because her power comes from the power stone and thanos possess it at that point. This is was in the beginning of the movie so she plays a very small role in taking down thanos. I won’t say who actually defeats thanos unless you’d want me to, also If you want to know the source, hmu.

Honestly I was not interested in a Widow movie. That really should be the Wasp in her Avenger's slot if you ask me. I want the Russos to direct a widow movie. She did SOOOOOOOO much better in Winter Soldier. She was much more fleshed out emotionally in that one.

My opinion was "based on the trailers and source material I think is going to be bad" and I was right but that was not a review either, just my opinion. Because I don't like Carol over the things she did in the comics and neither the trailers nor the actual movie made me chance my image of her.

Honestly, it's super insulting to the rest of the cast of the MCU to have someone come in for the grand finale of their story that's more powerful than all of them. After developing and growing in their abilities over multiple movies, they are simply irrelevant compared to someone written in to be more powerful than them. It's horrible story-telling. I honestly have higher hopes for Shazam than Endgame now if the writers are making decisions like this.

Saw it last night, really more so out of curiousity. It definitely is not that great. As a movie it is competent, but as a marvel movie especially one that is setting up what Feige says is the future of the MCU it is pretty lacluster. it's not worth your money, you do not need to see it to enjoy endgame.
Thor Ragnorok was the worst of all Marvel films. This movie was in the middle. Predictable, but not terrible. Didn't blow me out the water. Basically, it was ok. I say the worst thing in the film was how Fury lost his eye.

Having 5 writers on the project probably didn't help matters much. Might explain why it felt so disjointed
The problem I had with it was 1. How Fury lost his eye and 2. The movie making guys cliche assholes to women as a tool to get her to do the " I'll show them" stick. It never really showed why we should support her because it didn't show her struggle with anything. All the film showed was her fall on the ground literally her whole life and merely stand back up which is something anyone can do. The movie G.I. Jane is the movie to watch if you are trying to inspire women to fight the odds.

Am I the only one who loved this movie? I was on the edge of my seat for most of the movie, trying to figure who the villains were and what would happen next. I loved the 90's theme and the background of Carol Danvers and her life on Earth. I loved the villain reveal, the appearance of Ronan, Nick Fury and Colson. This movie was an 8/10 for me.

The worst part of this situation isnt that Captain Marvel sucked, but that she will ruin Avengers Endgame.
That's probably why they haven't put out another full Endgame trailer... They were waiting to see how captain marvel did and if they would need to edit some of her scenes out of the movie.
Remember, different movie means different director. The Russo Brothers KNOWS how to make characters great. Only because the captain marvel movie was bad, doesn't mean it will ruin end game. So we shouldn't lose hope yet
@@freddy333ful unfortunately, I think it's too late to make any edits to endgame. I mean, unless they shot 2 versions of it, one with her being a main character and one with her just being a secondary character, it's too late. And I'm so upset about endgame now. I was really looking forward to endgame before all of this, now I'm just scared that they're going to ruin the characters I've loved for so long. :(

Liked it a lot actually, I gave it a 7.5/10 and enjoyed it more than Wonder Woman, Black Panther and Ant-Man and the Wasp. Even some Thor films didn't resonate with me that much as this one.

CLA82529 fury loses his eye in a retarded way. Half the stuff in it doesn’t make sense with established lore. They changed Mar’vel the OG captain marvel into a women, because you know, feminism. They made the main character who isn’t any more powerful then iron man in the comics(in fact it can be argued she’s weaker then him)OP beyond belief. The movie is filled with SJW politics. The main character is really unlikable, and on top of all they she’s was the inspiration for the avengers. The movie is trash easily the worst MCU movie thus far. I don’t want to hear any of you bs comments about me being sexist either. Would have loved a black widow movie. I want scarlet witch(who is easily top 3 most powerful hero’s in the MCU)to be the one to defeat thanos with tony stark playing a major role in undoing the snap.
