fish4bugs, a B3/Leslie makes a band GO! My wife and I went to the Tab Benoit Voice of the Wetlands festival in Houma Louisiana a couple of years ago , and there were *two* B3s and two Leslie's on the stage ( I guess they wanted to be sure they had working spares in case of an equipment failure; the Ampeg SVT bass amp took a beating from every band for two days and was eventually replaced by a Gallien-Kruger)). The majority of the bands did indeed have a keyboardist sitting at the Hammond. This is a terrific 3-day FREE festival BTW, a mix of local and national bands, two stages, with jams going on until the wee hours of the morning. If you haven't heard Tab Benoit, he's a fabulous blues/rock player. Like I said, entrance is free and the Wetlands Foundation gets its funding from the sale of food and drink.
Matt Zeiner schlepped a B3 around for many years He was able to take it out of his van single handily. Along with his Leslie. He's and incredidable musian!
Y'all are amazing !!!!!! Love it !!!
That was a cooker... nice...
There should be MORE VIEWS! This is incredible
Great Solos/ Jeff du bist und bleibst einer meiner lieblings Solisten
Good vocals from the keyboardist. Who is he?
I can make out the first line he sings and NOTHING after that. The vocals are poor.
These guys ever come to the Virginia Tidewater area?
Connecticut
This very good. Who is the keyboardist-vocalist? I would like to see / hear more of him.
Matt Zeiner Keys !!!
Would have loved a REAL Hammond B3 and a Leslie. Electronics just don't do it! We purists are snobs! :) But Jeff, very tasty work!
