I just saw y'all's review of call in the coroner, and that was great. Thank y'all again for approaching our music with open minds. It really does mean a ton!! I gotta say I am 100% on board with you concerning my voice. I've never been the biggest fan myself, and it's a constant work in progress so I genuinely appreciate you noting a slight improvement there. Would love to hear y'all's thoughts on the project I've got with my wife called Escape from the ZOO. I'll try n find y'all's recommendations queue and throw a tune in there. Hope 2023 treats y'all well, and if ya ever need anything please don't hesitate to ask!!
Hey, I appreciate you dropping a comment! Let me just say, first of all, that I'm new to folk punk--let alone regular punk. We just started getting into this stuff via reactions at the beginning of 2022. Prior to this, I (Joel) was mostly a metalhead, and Chuckles listened to only country music lmao. So, absolutely take all of our words with a big grain of salt. 😁 Vocally, the stuff im still struggling to get into (not just with DnD) is folk punk with the screaming. Not sure why. Second, the song Saboteurs has been in heavy rotation in my playlist, and it's grown on me a lot. We also reacted to 2 songs from your Escape the Zoo project, and I came out LOVING 12 rounds and Sentient Beer. Intial reactions are hard for me, cause sometimes it takes me a listen or two to really get whether I like something or not. Again, thank you for commenting. Appreciate the art you create, and keep kickin ass! -Joel Norden
Yo, you are so awesome dude you have been I'm my top 3 for years hope I can come to a show one day. Love yours and Whitney's other stuff aside from Dn'D too.
I'm digging this song a lot! Regarding the vocals, is it a stretch to mention David Rovics? I've been really moved by his prolific protest songs and posts on social media. This song has a sincere and wise tone which also reminds me of Greg Graffin of Bad Religion 🤘🇵🇸💪🕊️✌️⚖️🏴☠️📣
I think some Mischief Brew might help nudge you more to the side of folk punk. They are more from the vein of classical American folk artists like woodie Guthrie and Pete seeger. "Dirty pennies" and "old tyme mem'ry" immediately come to mind. I'll try to remember to post when requests open back up.
Good song, adding it to playlists. Reminded me of David Rovics, Greg Graffin. Also my cousin's bluegrass band Miles Over Mountains who I highly recommend. But they're not political ✌️📣

💯💯💯
Blue Jays is a nice slow song by Days N Daze and the primary vocalist is the girl.
One of my fav bands being listened to by a boi in a shirt of my favorite video game. Love it.
Second the Mischief Brew comment, both tracks mentioned + Ramblers Ghost and Squatter Envy
