So the elites hold respect for the grunts cause when they have a actual drive to fight they are just as good as the marines. Grunts are extremely smart but to save costs and to run for longer their methane tanks are set to give them the minimum to live, they get an equivalent of hipoxia (low oxigen to the brain)

Hectorlo The Cobra would’ve been useless in Halo Wars 2. It was antivehicle vehicle. The Cyclops is better. They aren’t countered by everything. A Cyclops is antivehicle but is infantry. Not only does it actually do something and makes sense to actually use unlike in Halo Wars 1, they also give purpose to infantry which are useless by late game except for getting the points.
David Firesword, a late reply on my part, but are you really saying that the Cobra was useless in the first Halo Wars? It was the only counter-unit that could effectively kill two types of targets: vehicles and buildings. I'm also skeptical about the useless late game infantry argument because of the existence of Spartans, ODSTs and Hunters.
Ratio Tile But the downside was that Hunters, which are antivehicle, are infantry. The Cyclops does what the Cobra does, but not at the expense of being countered. The Cyclops and the Hunters in Halo Wars 2 don't Counter each other, so they are no longer one sided. Sure, jackals will wreck you, but again that's what the Hellbringers are used for, and they are cheap compared to Cyclops. And while yes, Scarabs will still mess your day up... they are Scarabs. They are usually expected to tear shit up. The Cobra was good, being antivehicle, but it just had such a bad downside. You had to have a mostly vehicle based army just to keep things effective, with Scorpions to handle the Hunters that will inevitably be used against you. I'm just saying. They made the Cyclops actually useful, outside of being only used to repair, without the expense of a unit. The downside of the Cobra was that it had nothing against infantry in any way. A Cyclops is infantry, so it doesn't get countered by Hunters, and it still does it's intended job. I would rather have the Cobra, cause Kodiak shoot like mortars, and those don't hit anything vehicle related unless they are ass slow, in which case you expect to fire on those enemies. The more immediate threats like Ghosts and Wraiths to some extent are what you need to handle, and Kodiaks aren't very capable of doing that job effectively.
Ok, if I understood this correctly, then you are saying that in a match-up of anti-vehicle units, the Hunters would beat Cobras and that it's a bad thing. But you were never supposed to beat Hunters with Cobras (or any vehicle at all), you used air units or infantry. It discouraged you from just spamming the same type of unit and added additional strategy elements to the game. That's the one thing that disappointed me about Halo Wars 2- the counter unit types were the same for both sides (Cyclops and Hunters -infantry, Reaver and Wolverine - vehicle, Snipers and Rangers - infantry). In the first Halo Wars, the counter units were more diverse in their types. Wolverines were vehicles while Vampires were air units, Hunters were infantry while Cobras were vehicles.
It's interesting that you can tell what species pilots the banished vehicle by listening to the pilot's speech. Elites: Ghosts, Wraiths, Banshees, Shrouds and Phantoms. Brutes: Choppers, Reaver, Marauders, Blisterbacks, Scarabs(normal and volatile), and Wraith-invaders. Grunts: Locusts and Methane Wagon. Some of these are more obvious than others.
