1. Start on your essays early, make sure you do not write about generic topics 2. Still take the SAT, ACT, and AP Tests and get the highest score possible 3. Try to have activities around your major 4. Find the right teachers to write a special recommendation for you, you would have to find these teachers earlier before you apply 5. Do you think this is enough extracurricular activity to get into a place like UVA. It’s my top school at the moment and was wondering if I should pick up something like student government in my junior and/or senior year. Thx

After I complete my AA degree in general studies, I will be in a BA program for radio television and journalism. I have been studying at a community college for 6 years. You should take a look at my stats video from this year in April in that way you can get to know about me. I am a military child, so I moved from state to state from age 5 through 21. During my high school experiences, I did not take APs nor honors courses due to my move. I was born in the west side of New York. I lived there for 5.5 years. I lived in 5 different states for 2-3 years, Virginia for 6-7 months, and Puerto Rico for a year. For right now, I’m living in Florida. I have been living in Florida for 2 years. Again, you did a great job with the video. I grew up with Individual Educational Plan (IEP) due to my diagnosed with autism at age 3. Wish you are the best at university wherever you go. Students in my junior class feel like they don't have a shot at ivy-level schools with SATs of 1500+, rank top 10/1000 (above average district), extracurriculars through the roof... I would focus on getting leadership positions now and I would do student government also, it couldn’t hurt
