He so I tried twisted the adjustment bracket on the side where u slide the bolt thru the alternator and now it’s stuck on the alternator it’s bending from home much force im trying to get it off with
@@jfGarage4k ok I’ll let you know what happens thanks for the reply , I got a drill today im going to see if I can use a easy out tip and to drill the other side that is completely round see if it spins out that way , it’s stuck on a thick hole on the alternator I didn’t attach it to the main adjusting bolt on the top section of the bottom , did it from the bottom
@@jfGarage4k and you think I’ll be able to get the entire bracket off if the alternator is stuck with the side adjusting bolt isn’t there a bolt behind the alternator that I would have to somehow get. I apologize for all these texts just miss my prelude the job was supposed to be easy and now it’s 10x hard because this bracket is so stuck and I hop it isn’t bent to the point it won’t work anymore
Thank you for being the only person with a competent video! I wish I'd found it before I broke a bolt in the adjuster
You're very welcome!
I like that alternator pulley..
So good
Good video, thank you man 🙂
Thank you 💯
Thanks brother
At 2:29 did you add the nut and washers on the bolt ? I’m asking because mine did not have those
Ya i add those 2 items because i have aftermarket alternator pulley
Extra nut and washers on that adjuster bolt for spacers

You have any tips , I looked only there’s no more adjusting brackets for this car it’s discontinued
Take out the bracket inspect make sure its straight and its not bending. Lube up the treads to reduce the drags on the tread bolt
