At first I never understood why. It's the way this lowkey made me tear up a bit because I just figured out my major and am soon walking into my junior year of college, finally transferring to university and turning 20 next month, all while watching you since I was 8. I've started journaling this past year, and it's really helped to learn that all the stuff I feel is temporary; recently, all I've been stressing about is my future and the fact I'm entering my 20s. I made a really big decision for myself last year, and I’ve been going through it since then. In my mind, I kept putting myself down and overthinking my situation. Many family members showed their disapproval, others their support, and lots of drama had ensued once I followed through with my decision. It really made me face my fears, and I needed to reevaluate my identity and principles. A year later, I’ve started to heal and figure myself out. It took a lot to crawl out of my hidey hole, and there are days when the doubt creeps in, but I’m trying to keep my head above the water. I only hope that from now on, I’m able to thrive and accomplish what I need, and make goals that I will feel happy to complete. I felt so stuck for a year , putting my career on hold and focusing on working and buying a house . They were both living with my family and I since Feb 2023. It’s definitely a stressful thing. I put a hold on my college stuff and have no actual idea what I was to do as a career. I’m working at a car wash just under full time with no benefits whatsoever. I have a lot of debt to pay off. Life is hard and it sucks rn. I hope things turn up for you and it’s kind of nice to know that someone is kind of going through something somewhat similar.
