    To those folks, who are concerned about FDA approval - these items like amla/fenugreek are commonly found in Indian kitchens. And if you can eat them directly, putting on your hair is no big deal from a safety perspective. I give a lot of importance to FDA approval, in general, but for these food items which I have been consuming since childhood, I use them without batting an eye ☺️ On a lighter note, I find it funny when Khadija tries to explain what Amla smells like, because I grew up eating that fruit (very sour, yum!) and it’s like explaining to someone what apple tastes like!

      Check out "Curly Proverbs" on RUclips she uses most of the "Henna Sooq" products and give tons of helpful tips. Your hair need moisture, nourishment, stay away from harsh chemicals. Drink lots of water, take "MSM" a hair vitamin & also healthy diet.... veggie, fruit, fish, poultry ect. God bless you!!

I was diagnosed with Alopecia areata a couple of years ago and I have traction Alopecia from wearing weaves. I went thru prp injections for two years, plus I had hyper pigmentation done (tattooing) on my edges!!! It gone now!! So yep!! I did everything!!😏😏😏 but since I've been doing the Ayurveda hair treatments..my hair has been thriving!!! My edges are growing and my hair has thickened up! Yay!!! She's absolutely right! It takes time, you've got to commit and be patient! Keep a journal, and find what works for you. I found out that I have an auto immune disease so, I had to change my diet. So you see, it's not just what you put on your hair, it was what I was eating that was affecting my hair loss as well. Hope this helps! ❤️🌹🙏🏾😇 blessing on your hair journey

    I have lots of aloe vera juice. How can I use that in this recipe instead of powder? I don't want to buy another thing when I have another option.

    Hi, thank you for this video and recipe. My question is: Do you apply heat after you apply the Mask or allow it to sit on Hair for 1 hour without heat or a plastic cap?

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  4 года назад +1

      Welcome! You can be at room temperature but if you have low porosity hair you can use heat or steam as it allows for better penetration.

    Hello I just discovered your channel🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️I also just moved to Temple Hills MD... I’ve been natural for almost 7 years but anyway I want to try only Ayurvedic herbs this year because my hair really responds well to DIY recipes. The problem I’ve been having lately is moisture. I plan on trying a lot of your products but where should I start first to moisturize my hair? Also I see you have a store online but do you have an stores here in Maryland? Also where do you post the up coming events you will be hosting or having? Lol sorry for all the questions I’m a new subbie and very interested in the hair practices your teaching

      Welcome to Maryland!! That is amazing to hear about how long you've been natural. Yes we have a location in Columbia, MD. Not too far. We have products there. Not everything that we carry online but a good amount. We have an event in Baltimore coming up here: facebook.com/events/588113395323175/ on 2/1. We also do consultations and hair: hennasooq.com/bookings/ and have classes and a membership program. :)

    You say your amla powder isn’t for consumption. But other brands have edible amla powder. What’s the difference between yours and theirs?

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  4 года назад +3

      the type of amla that is edible would be a food grade level. Usually they go through extra steps and clearances for food grade ingredients. We only carry cosmetic grade level powders.

      HennaSooq thanks 😊. I love putting amla in water in the mornings. Packs a lot of energy 🍊!

      @@sabster79 Welcome! I know :) Some of these herbs are so good. The amazing thing is that even if someone is or isn't ingesting the food grade level ones, by using the herbs on your body and hair too, it gets into your system :) More then likely smaller doses but honestly herbs are a whole self care regimen :)

      HennaSooq Yep 👍🏽. I once splurged and bought an extremely expensive face serum. The main ingredient was...amla 🤣🤣🤣.
