Great idea, we love hummus too, now I'll have to try and make some. Lord knows I have the stuff for it on grilled cheese is my favorite way or a pretzel ..

Depends on the seasoning. I like it as a spread, too. Yum! I like it better with lentils instead of chickpeas/garbanzo beans.

I definitely understand the small town thing. I asked a butcher at Kroger's, which is 40 miles from the small town I live in, about souse meat. I know it's not for everybody but I've always loved it. He said he'd never heard of it. And none of the other few supermarkets within 50 miles of here. But the positives of small town living still outweigh the negatives. I guess my comment is off topic. Sorry. 🙏

I agree. I used to have to slice souse meat all the time. It makes a huge mess on the slicer from the gelatin in it. I haven't seen it for a long time in any store. I usually have to drive about 75 minutes to get any specialty foods. Most of our little country stores are shutting down. I try to get what I can from them.
Thank you for commenting. It brings back memories for me. God bless you Brad. 😊

What a gift to watch this video. I bought some Lentils today. They were on sale close to the expiration date. When I don't have tahine at home a just put toasted sesame seeds into the blender with my Chickpeas. I have never made lentil humus, but I will sure try today❤ thank you Rhoda

Thank you Bruno. I love hummus, but I do believe lentil hummus is my favorite. It's easier to blend up for me.

Thank you. My husband also isn't a fan of hummus, and he liked it. Maybe because I can add my own spices and the texture is creamier. God bless you Sally 😊

I love hummus, but my stomach doesn't seem to care for chick peas, so this may be great for me!
    Thanks!!

This is easier on the belly than other legumes/beans. I hope it is for you. You're welcome, and God bless you 😊
