Some final cut tips... 1. Move the first clip with the position tool to leave a empty space as the first frame. Then you can connect your music to the empty frame without fear of anything happening to it if you delete the video. (Hope this makes sense) 2. Grouping your videos. Once you finish you edit for snares and tenors or basses you can group your videos together. To keep it nice and tidy. I believe the shortcut key is Command G. You can even rename them. Love the videos. Also I didn’t know about the crop and feather. Thank You for that. Hope these tips make it fast to edit your videos. Keep up the beats. 🥁 and thank you for your service.
Eric!!! So funny I stubbled on your channel. I was blown away with how entertaining your videos are. I learned a lot too. Great stuff! You seemed super familiar.. Then I realized we both marched Bush. You were that new tenor guy! Great times. Thank you for the how to vids and the educational content. You found your nitch. God bless and continued success. Joey Jazz
Have you tried changing the project's FPS to 120? You might be able to move the audio clip left and right a smaller amount to line up the audio with the video? I just thought about that, but haven't tried in Premiere yet, not sure how Final Cut works.. Might do that this year if I shoot some lot videos.
@@EMCproductions It might NOT be? I'm not familiar with Final Cut. On second thoughts, I feel like it might make the file a LOT bigger if you did that though. Might not be worth it lol.
Thanks for sharing your workflow! I have done a few drumline-videos intended for my students to practice along to, using final cut as well, learned a few tricks here! Thanks! P.S. A few (less ambitious) clips on my channel if you want to check them out.
Your video is awesome and very informative. I'm trying to add a second camera to my videos. The best apps cost money. What is your best choice for a free app to achieve good results?
Imagine having to edit a video of you explaining how you edit a video😫😬🤯

Correction. They are called Compound clips and shortcut is Option G.
Deserves a lot more credit than he gets
Maching uniforms and everything, wow!
2 minutes in and I already know this will be a great video! Keep it up!
Eric you always put so much work into your videos, and just wait, in no time you’ll have over a million subscribers!
I love how on bass 5 u can always see the frame shake from the sear power of its might
The "previously on" part was so crisp, the production quality top notch

dang dude, you gotta eject "easystore" before disconnecting it or turning it off!
Final cut is the better version of IMovie basically
You should do a changing / tuning heads video like you did for tenors but a snare drum edition!
Now that you mentioned bass 4 shaking the camera, its gonna bother me forever
Add canopy weights to the bottom of your camera stand.
Love your skills.
I'm gonna try this Senior Year !
24:19 is the best!😆
The Bass 4 shake!! XD
everybody gangsta til eric makes alt accounts
Tryna learn this for the digital drumline lol
The 2 after the first one are the ones we play at our school 😂
Check out my stools video!!! Didn’t use my real video setup but it looks ok
eyy here we go
I wanna make a marching band from one person... is that a bit too much?
Okay, but how go you move the crop, as in marching
Anyone notice in the bass solo in the final product that his feet were kinda off from the background

How do you have time to make all these videos on the Commandant's Own schedule?
First Comment!
so this is what the American tax payers money go for. $ 8,000,000,000 defense budget
You know what's weird to think about. You are making a video about how to edit a video while editing this video so it can be watched.
Whiteboard behind him

Is there any other program? Final cut is 300$
Final Cut is basically iMovie on steroids
Do you know how to play marimba and timpani too
@@EMCproductions if you follow my Instagram I can show you my drumline videos
