We have a Flowers thrift shop. Great bargains. You'll find items that'll cost about $3 at a convenience store, cost less than a buck at the thrift store. BTW, bakery thrift stores may be a southern thing. I'm not sure. They are everywhere here in KY. Ok Mary...confess. Which item out of the haul did you keep to eat? 😂
My town used to have one of these too! I used to shop there until they started raising their prices to just about regular price....for expired/nearly expired stuff! They ended up going out of business and honestly, I wouldn’t have gone there anymore anyway since we got an aldi shortly afterward and Aldi absolutely beat out the day-old bread store prices.
We used to have Wonder Hostess Bakery Outlets in SoCal and I loved going as a child and adult. Unfortunately all that I know are now closed, there may be more but not that I am aware of.
I used to work by an outlet in NorCal. I’d go there on my lunch breaks from time to time. No one was ever there. I wasn’t sure how they stayed in business.
