I also hope that Millenium: Elf hits the global market soon. It is a very generous game for f2p players and has various gameplay mechanics for a turnbased game. It's been a while since I enjoyed a good gacha, and I don't even understand the language (because it's only in chinese for now) 😅

Hey FG, are you aware if theyre going to be gifting selectors for the base banner heroes? Hoyo is notorious for having 30-40 mins rerolls, and usually they dont even gift more than a 10 pull, so would be a huge change if theyre thinking of actually gifting at least 2 multis or some such depending on registrations.

What are you talking about? WuWa has very mediocre combat! It's the thing they need to enhance ASAP. The game is great though, but not because of combat: that's not even debatable.

@@Matias_L You have no clue since you can think of genshin only. But punishing gray raven, which is of kuro games too, is for example much better. If you want even better you have vindictus, if you want to see what REAL COMBAT in an action game should be like.

This might be what I am looking for in an action gacha game. Aether gazer was really fun but got stale after 5 months or so. WuWa is not really scratching the itch for me.

It’s more of a challenge if it was a challenging fight in the first place. Usually makes them hit harder too. It’s all about the initial move sets.

Of coure...be prepared for events that are poor in materials, pop-up windows directing you to the store, the inability to build a character without buying BP, you can't expect anything surprising from this company, as well as accepting the regulations allowing them total access to every corner of your device, good luck ;)

No one is forcing you to play the game. That doesn't mean you should go around spreading misinformation about the company and stop others from playing it.
@@fredflinston7856in their previous games, this company is actually praised for how uninvasive the paid stuff is, they never have pop-ups or sales besides the anniversary reset, it doesn’t even pop up or anything. Never bought battlepass for genshin or hsr and have had no trouble building characters. I have no idea where you’re getting this info from.

say what you want about skipping the story in a game, everyone has done it at least once, and it's not about ignoring the story or not caring about it, some people just don't have time to read and watch cutscenes all day.
and seeing it from a different approach, rerolls are much easier when you don't have 30+ minutes of story to go through every single time

Adore the polish and the aesthetics. My concern is that the game looks like HI3 and PGR with a bright coat of paint. Action gachas burn out super fast for me. Hopefully there's a bit more to the game, like actual fun character interactions in the hub world, and more importantly, hopefully the grind is actually fun.
It's the same with most of these type of games. Once the combat starts to feel boring the upgrade grind just turns into a chore, that's one of the reasons no auto is both good and bad. From what I've seen there seems to be little more to do than endless combat grind so I think the burnout will happen with this too.

When this was announced i had no interest. It looked like HI3 and PGR redundancy but now i may try it just for the sake of having a side game that is just mindless button smashing to pass the time. Combat movement looks great

Amazing character designs, but that gameplay looks like a shoozefest. I can't imagine myself grinding this without auto for years to come - it's basically Genshin, but somehow even more simplified since there's no more open world to explore.

So sick of these games being so far up their ass with story. Love Star Rail but that last update was like 9 hours of characters standing in a circle droning on and on with no gameplay.
I'll play it on launch. I am surprised no big CCs are hyping this up. Perhaps too busy glazing WuWa lmao. WuWa combat is great, no denying that but it does lacks that subtle polish you'll see in hoyo titles, i am personally not interested in GI or HSR but i can appreciate the polish they put in their games. Kuro has yet to achieve that polish with WuWa, lets hope they improve in subsequent versions because foundation looks good to be built upon.

Way too many gachas inside the game (premium character, equipment, standard banner, and now pets?), and Mihoyo games have been become more and more dupe reliant for their characters, some of them play completely different depending if you have dupes or not,. There is also the fact that the powercreep has been insane in their last game, so I dont have a lot of hope for this one.
I might skip this one.
i expect to try it, compare it to Wuthering Waves, see how inferior it is to Wuthering Waves and then go back to playing Wuthering Waves.
You have nothnng else to do in wuwa tho. You can even play other gacha and it wouldnt take hours of your day lmao

The game looks good, But no thank you. As f2p hoyovers isn't for me . I play PGR and WUWA which are KURO games. Not only they are super f2p but also the games are incredible and the fighting style is the best there is and
the characters look very mature and realistic unlike hoyovers which the characters look like children , not to mention how much KURO generous to their players and they listen to our feedback. P.S that is my opinion if you like hoyovers games and you are willing to pay then go for it .😊

wow didnt know KURO whiteknights are as oblivious as hoyo ones, both have their nuances both can be said on both sides ,people said wuwa cant be whaled as its a SKILL game yet look at 6-10 second hologram clears recently thanks to whaling 0 skills needed
genuinely asking, how is pgr f2p friendly (meta and competitive wise) ? i'm playing it but even with the monthly pass it's barely enough for an s rank + sign (if win the 80 20) each new s rank comes (don't forget bout the cubs), while i still need to build 12 - 15 characters to optimally cover each element. Not to mention it's getting harder to brute force the warzone now.

@@P5Joker well because their voice breaks my roleplay no matter if i self insert or just roleplay some character. The voice removes a big part of roleplay and puts you into even bigger restrictions (like no looks customization wasn't enough, removing gender choice is the last step). For example today i was playing diablo 4 and a voice completely ruined my character for me, i wish my necro never speak coz the voice is not even close to what i wanted to hear and breaks all immersion (at least in my localization)
I agree. Talking protagonists suck. Why give me a generic, zero personality stand-in character if you're going to give them a voice? Obviously in that case I'd rather just play as any other character in the game with an actual personality. The only reason I would ever want to play as such a generic character is if they were there as a self-insert for the sake of immersion. I wouldn't mind so much if the main character was interesting and fun, but it very much looks like this is a case of ultra bland protagonist syndrome.
The 2 protagonist you can choose on this game have each their own personalities and ways to speak. Meaning that they are not some soulless MC. So it doesn't really matter in my opinion.
Quick note: The protagonist you choose will be the one you hear the least. The one you don’t choose will somewhat be your assistant.
