And he acted as a docent for you without missing a beat. Cool history lesson I didnt know. Wz thinking all this time that gold was mainly found in Cali & AK
@@carryjgful in some states it wasn’t just gold. For example in Nevada there was a lot of silver being found, and other parts of the US are known for their copper.
Yes AHEC does a great job on the Auraria campus. He was on the roof of the Tivoli parking garage, used for students part of 3 various high ed institutions (universities, colleges etc) on campus. Though people use it for the ball arena too sometimes which was across the street. You can get overnight parking there, but because he's not a regular or part of that campus he couldn't . If he reached out to me I could have gotten him overnight parking lol.
@bibilym4514 I moved to wyoming 8 years ago and it's a western thing. People mind their business, and don't really care what other are up to as long as they're decent. Reminded me of the midwest, just less nosey.
My favorite part of this video is the fact that he's so content, and dare I say even elated over the simplest of things. THAT is what life is REALLY about; finding the joy in just being in the moment.
@@gothicyid Finding joy in life is called hedonism? Now you're just projecting. I NEVER said you shouldn't do for others. In fact some of the greatest joy in life is giving to others. Sounds like you have some personal issues you need to work through.
As someone who spent 2 years total living in Colorado, I can tell you that the one thing Coloradans like best is to talk about Colorado ;-) Who can blame them. It's a beautiful and fascinating place.
Um I don't think you actually understood his point.... It's not that he can't afford it. But that he doesn't want to live like that... His lifestyle is by the way in my humble opinion a lot more "live life to the fullest" rather than I'd guess someone more traditional who chooses to settle down in one spot and live in a permanently rooted place. His lifestyle is full of wonderment. Joy of simple living and adventurous, like he actually gets to fill his life with all kinds of wonderful fulfilling experiences.... so don't pity him. I don't think he's life is pitiful. I don't think he would appreciate being pitied..... His life is a joyful adventurous journey!
@@gloriabrito8714he said he did it because he couldn’t stand how much he was losing on rent. That’s a financial issue. The dollar has lost 85% of its value since we went off the gold standard and the middle class is all but gone. There is a reason this lifestyle has gained popularity and people are making the best of a bad situation for the most part when you really get down to it. I’m living in my vehicle and I’m in Facebook groups of others doing the same. People sometimes say it’s for travel and freedom and it does meet that need for variety, however, if people had money to do both I doubt most would actually choose this. It’s one or the other and better smile or you might cry, for the generations that will never know the American dream.
I appreciate the positivity in this video. Keep in mind that a person needs an adequate income to make a positive unhoused experience that includes travel and keeping your options open. For those without adequate income, it’s not a romantic lifestyle. This is the richest society in the history of the world, but let’s not pretend that it makes sense that working and retired people can’t afford to rent or buy places to live. Living in a vehicle, no matter how fun you make it in the short term, is not a sustainable lifestyle. If you don’t have adequate income, the minute the vehicle requires expensive repairs, you’re in jeopardy. The book “Nomadland” got this right…the movie did not.
It's by choice that he lives this way. He doesn't like to pay rent and neither do the majority. Denver doesn't have a city ordinance in place that keeps RVs from parking anywhere so living in an SUV blends right in.
Im a 61 yr old RN. Most of my life my husband and I had planned to retire and travel North America in a sprinter van. He died when he was 45 and I was 39. Our daughters were 9 and 16 at the time. Just when they were finished school and beginning their lives. I was run over by a truck while walking down a sidewalk. I had planned to pay for my travel life as a Travel RN. Not happening in a wheelchair. Young man please take advantage of the opportunity to travel that our profession supplies. I had planned on doing 13 weeks in Alaska, 13 weeks in California then Florida and so on. I would summer at home in Ontario Canada. I was licensed in the USA and Canada. You are now living both of our dreams, have fun. And congrats on graduating.🎉🇨🇦🇺🇲❤👨🦼🩺💉
seeing that interaction on the rooftop really puts my faith back humanity. Dude could have been an asshole and kicked him out for no reason but instead carried on a nice conversation and even called you jersey. what a wholesome and real interaction between two nice genuine dudes. what a great vibe
I don't understand why you say he could have kicked him out for no reason it literally would have had to been for no reason because he paid to be up there. But what reason would the guy I've had to kick him out for no reason as my question?
@@ananolastname1605 at least where im from in the bay area, and in many public garages they dont allow overnight parking, especially if caught using it to sleep. Myself included been kicked out of parking lots just for “loitering” with my friends. Meant no harm saying he could’ve been an asshole. Just pointing out a nice interaction between two people. Hence also why cops will kick out a small group of cars because they are “afraid they will be a nuisance” even though they are breaking no laws. RUclipsrs and photographers get kicked out of parking lots all the time for taking pictures of cars even no laws are being broken. Also thats literally why i said for no reason and pointed out it wouldve been an asshole move.
Congratulations. I just found your channel and I enjoyed it. I look forward to your next videos. You did the right thing being kind to the security. I always say kill them with kindness. Very impressive young man. Offering to pick up trash to help that nice security officer when the temp is 95 degrees, is wonderful. My father always insisted that we leave a place cleaner than when we found it.
Guy is living like a modern day cowboy. His car is his horse. He is not tied to one place. He can rough it so to speak and find joy in the simple things in life. Love it.
It's unfuckingbelievable that people get all shocked and shaken when they receive good customer service, or just kindness in general, this generation has no clue
That was the most wholesome parking attendant interaction I've ever seen!! I loved how he pretty much was your personal tour guide for a minute, giving an intro to Colorado.
I'm new here, very cool! I'm from Oregon have you ever been here? It's beautiful you can get a good job here it seems like they are very busy! How did you learn how to do the solar panels and power storage I know nothing about how any of it works?🧐
Yessss. I really recommend being homeless for a bit! I was for almost 2 years, changed my life and me in so many ways. You really get to know yourself and trust yourself on a deep level. And the kindness of strangers becomes do apparent. We really don't need much. And everything we need is here for us. Its important not to avoid stress, though, but to learn how to manage it. Its all part of the process.

A question for you. Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior and living right to the best of your ability asking for forgiveness when you don't? I Iike your personality and that you are saving money while you are enjoying life. GOD has blessed you with your schooling and the ability to live the life you do so always give him the credit and if you aren't saved, please do right now.
Aww that was so nice that you helped the guy clean up the parking lot and made friends with him and the young teens they were so cool. You’re a cool guy and on the right path.
In a society where so much fear is pushed on us, following your instincts has become somewhat secondary. Yes, we should follow our instincts like you have. You are not just a camper but a camper with a mission and vision for success. Thank you sir! Very inspirational!
I don't stress about fear. I think if you do that, it skews your thinking. I keep readiness in the back of my mind and just live. I always have 2 guns on me, but rarely give it any thought. Stressing will get you worse than any potential threat.

I'm a Colorado native living in north Denver. I have to be honest, I've been feeling down about my city and state for awhile now. But seeing you dine with such an incredible view and being happy where you are have made my night! Thank you for sharing this positively with me!!
Im also in Colorado (25 yrs), and I must say, the place has really gone to sh*t.. poor leadership and legal drugs are attracting some unsavory neighbors... I still enjoy the state, but the decline is hard to ignore
As soon as I saw your interaction with the car lot attendant, I immediately subscribed. You are a kind hearted person and you turn all situations into a positive. I like that. You reap the ultimate reward by living a peaceful and happy life. Take care and keep on enjoying the beautiful life you are living.
Very proud of you my fellow nurse. Been in for twenty years and just know the sky is the limit and I could totally see you doing travel nursing like this! Blessings to you
The interaction you had with the parking attendant was so nice to see 😢 So many people have become so nasty nowadays. My desire is we all had more respect for each other. Even if we may not agree or have a different belief system. We need more of this 😊
I was smiling so much throughout your interaction with the guy. Both of you had positive energy beaming and reflecting off eachother. What a beautiful moment.

My first time watching you and I am so impressed with your ability to live so simply. Thoreau said: "Simplify, simplify, simplify." We lose the importance of that in today's complex world. So, my hat is off to you for achieving this difficult state of being.
I love your personality and cheerful demeanor. I pray everything is going well for you and that you are either having a great and easy going shift or that you are sleeping peacefully! :)
I'm a nurse too. Previously I worked in EMS. I wish I had your set up when I worked in EMS. I could have just lived and slept in my car and worked all the time!
I am so proud of you! Congratulations on your nursing degree! I'm a nurse too, but have to say you went the extra mile getting your degree while living in your car. Good job!🎉

Make his aspirations to live in a car. I am sorry that he is single but he doesn’t have to be homeless because his wife left him. What a sad life sentence to think, this is it for me. This guy is making a lot of money from his videos so living like this is a choice for him and no one can live in a tiny car long term. Who wants to live alone?
If every security guard were as great as the one in this video, you could stop so much unnecessary violence. These videos are simply FANTASTIC and no matter how many views you get, you probably deserve millions more.
Truthfully they are, the media just chooses the worst possible crimes to highlight that make them look like villains. The vast majority of the time they are chill and cool, I'd know because I used to be one with the military lol.
You are such a nice young man. Congratulations on finishing nursing school. That’s a huge accomplishment! You have your priorities in order and a good head on your shoulders as well. Living like you would a be a dream, a beautiful one. You love life and do not take anything for granted, even the view you got while enjoying your meal. What kind of stove did you cook on and I am so impressed by your enthusiasm for life and that you washed your dishes and dried them. I have been a nurse for the last 11 years and I am still feeling like I have no idea what I am doing half of the time. So many rules, so much writing and documenting makes it hard to keep up properly with patient care. Love how you have established your life. Love that you are living your dream. Btw, you could have used a potato to go with that meal. ha ha.
That feeling, like there is too much to know, is actually a good thing when working in medicine. I do as well, and because each hcp can only know under 1% of the total medical knowledge, it’s good to be keenly aware of that, and to know what you know, and what you don’t/when to ask others on the team. The hcp’s that falsely think they know-it-all are the riskier ones.

I think the biggest thing is bathroom stuff. It's annoying to have to take showers at the gym and also finding a bathroom in the city is difficult. If you solve the bathroom issue then I don't really see anything difficult about it.

This video came up in my feed, and now you have a new subscriber. My mind is somewhat blown. You are amazing! Thank you for showing your solar home on wheels. You probably opened a lot of people's minds about what is possible. People can leave a bad domestic situation, or stop paying high rents, or live in a choice location -- and easily change it. One can go from living in a beach town to a mountain city, or in the woods to very urban. Just think -- you may have changed a person's life or given people hope by showing what is possible. And you are sweet, kind, and friendly. I enjoyed watching a decent human being do simple things, such as cook, eat, chat, and clean, in a calm way in a unique environment. Congratulations on your nursing school graduation!
I could not love this enough. The security guy was awesome and he was really knowledgeable. Also, how great was it that you helped him out in the heat ?! I’m am officially a fan.
It’s so wonderful you’re a nurse. The world desperately needs more nurses. You guys are heroes 💪🏻 You could even maybe look into doing travel nursing. I hear they earn good money. Plus if you find a city/job you love, you can then stay there. But if you’re in a place you don’t love, it’s cool cos it’s only temporary (that’s why I’ve loved temporary work in the past). Love your channel. Sending you good vibes from Sydney, Australia ✨✨✨
I'm a nurse too. Congrats! 🎉 When I worked hospice my Chevy Astro was decked like yours. When I had a patient close to dying I could just camp out somewhere close by. It made me much more accessible as a nurse, and cut down on gas and mileage.
I'm an American. What about us caused your despair? Like I'm wondering what foreigners think our main problem is. Personally, I think America is gonna be destroyed in the very near future bc our evil president keeps letting in illegal immigrants, and treating them like kings with free hotels, food, cell phones, healthcare, flights, literally everything is provided to them after they sneak in. About 10,000 are coming in daily. I'm so sad and mad.

I love how sincere, innovative, and inspiring you are, Arslan! The way you show so much gratitude (which is something we ALL need to do more, honestly), and appreciation for the things most of us are too busy to recognize every day is refreshing. You should be incredibly proud of what you've accomplished, getting yourself through nursing school and now a NURSE!. Someday you will look back at these videos and I hope you feel an incredible sense of accomplishment, adventure, and wisdom. Your entire Essence is Beautiful! Thank you for your contribution.

As an Registered Nurse in Australia I understand your need for being thrifty. I was homeless for a year to save money but now I own a home in a good area. Nursing is the essential career as it has so many uses around the world. Best wishes to you.
@@michelegray9007 But that is his goal! He can make more money as a traveling nurse if he wants, working 3, 6, etc month long contracts while living in different lovely places. I just think of all the money he is saving up and paying to himself, by not having rent, trash fees, water bill, Electric, gas, or a mortgage with interest, property taxes, and House insurance etc. He is saving the money up so when he’s ready he can buy a house he loves! More of us should be saving up money, but the high cost of living makes it challenging.
First time viewer here and I was surprised that random people you meet in Denver are so easy to talk to. I'm in Los Angeles and you never talk to strangers or even approach them or even make eye contact, it's sort of sad but that's the reality here. Your show is bomb and I wish you best of luck in your nursing career.

As an Australian who takes a keen interest in American politics, I have been despairing at the state of your nation. This uplifting and positive video gives me hope for your society. Anyone with two fingers and a modem can spout absurd drivel and there will always be a percentage of the population that will believe it. That’s you mate! hope for a society because a RN nurse is living in a car??? you must have smoked something if you believe that this is positive, USA has devolved back to the 18, and 19 century, where corporations were dictating policies, and now it's the same, corporations are giving money to the politicians, both Conservatives and a lot of Democrats and in return they pass rules and regulations that favors them... and everytime when you want to pass anything to regulate the market, the conservatives cry communism or socialism.... As long as we see housing and healthcare as a private enterprise but not a human right, we are not going anywhere. Because an average of over $30000 per year for a 2 bedroom is impossible, you need to make $90000 per year and after taxes you are left with little bit over 60K, and half of your income goes into renting.... I guess this is the New American dream that the conservatives want to sell. And most jobs don't pay close to 90K a year... so imagine the struggle of people at around 40K to 60K income...
And thanks. As an American, a despair too. Not surprised if we wind up in a civil war. Never seen such a division. No longer just a difference in political differences. We have a cult that is trying to force themselves onto our way of life.
I love how you appreciate everything--A good view...flavorful food...the good life on a budget! :) My husband was an over-the-road truck driver and I rode with him for a year. It was an amazing adventure. We didn't have a sink in the truck, but we did have a generator. I cooked everything we ate in a crockpot (cooked while we drove) and used a spray bottle of vinegar & water to clean up (everything--dishes, cooking area, even our hands) until we could get to a truck stop. All we needed was access to a store every few days for a bag of groceries, a few bottles of spring water and paper towels. Safe travels!!
I have a 2007 Kia Sedona that I use for camping. It’s a no-build set up with everything I need. As a 74-year-old woman, I now limit my camping to State and Federal campgrounds. When my husband was around, we were random campers, lots of great memories! When my kids were born in 1968 and 1970, we tent camped in the california gold rush country. Camping is good no matter when, i just found you and subscribed, you have already taught me stuff I didn’t know, so thanks! When I just drive to and from the granny apartments, I use a 2017 Hyundai Tucson, I guess I could camp in it, but my daughter and son-in-law gave me their van, aren’t they great?
You should consider tinting your windows, get 5 percent on all the sides and back and then 20 on the Windshield. Way safer as you can see out clearly but nobody can see in as opposed to the window covers where you can’t see out
The way your day just rolls along so naturally and enjoyably plus your humble and upbeat personality?? What's not to love here. And you can COOK!!😊 The open road, freedom, knowing how to be safe and do what you want. Hey Jersey....you're living the life. Blessings, peace and love to you. THANK YOU for taking us along.
I grew up in that light blue area up in Northglenn. Whole place is way too crowded for me to even visit now. But it’s definitely relatively safer, up there.
I love how the security guard was very cool and I love how you picked up trash. I do the same thing. one in Puorto Rico while staying at a resort shortly after the hurricane, me and my friend asked our server for bags. He was surprised when we told him we were using them to pick up trash on the beach. It's just something I enjoy doing and with the hurricane it threw a bunch of trash everywhere. Every little bit helps.
Congratulations on being a new nurse! I just retired after 35 years. I did travel nursing for about the last 7-8 years with working in a jail as my last gig (that was a regular job though because my boyfriend was getting tired of me being gone a lot). I slept in my car quite a bit of that time because I didn’t want to pay out all of my hard earned money. I usually would just find a shady spot in a parking lot though sometimes people would try to make you leave even though you weren’t bothering anyone. I’d go to the gym to shower and I’d go home on my day’s off. Good luck to you!
Omg you're so friggin adorable and God bless!! I'm retiring in 4 yrs and would love to travel on my own for a year or two. Your gratefulness and awe are lovely and I wish you continued good health, adventure and joy! ❤

Once or twice in a lifetime you stumble across someone truly inspirational. This young man is one of those times . A pure soul.
Worker was great. The smile on his face when he said “alright New Jersey, I gotta get back to work” a man with integrity too
My favorite part of this video is the fact that he's so content, and dare I say even elated over the simplest of things. THAT is what life is REALLY about; finding the joy in just being in the moment.
No that's called hedonism. Life isn't about ourselves it's about other.
yes!
I noticed the same thing! 💕
Yes I’m a nurse as well and you need to go with your instincts if you don’t it could be a matter of life or death.
@@gothicyid Finding joy in life is called hedonism? Now you're just projecting. I NEVER said you shouldn't do for others. In fact some of the greatest joy in life is giving to others. Sounds like you have some personal issues you need to work through.
Love that the parking attendant was cool and actually knows about his city. Yay for humanity!
Yes his interaction with him was my fav part
That man was BRILLIANT 🤯 he knew about geography and movements ! Wow
As someone who spent 2 years total living in Colorado, I can tell you that the one thing Coloradans like best is to talk about Colorado ;-)
Who can blame them. It's a beautiful and fascinating place.
When he said primo you just knew he was chill asf.
I agree, I'm so impressed with him. He should be a tour guide or something!!
I think it is sad that hard working people cannot live in homes anymore. This young man is inspiring and making the best of it.
He chooses not to cuz he "hates paying rent" don't get it twisted 🙄
It's by choice that he lives this way. He doesn't like to pay rent and neither do the majority. Denver doesn't have a city ordinance in place that keeps RVs from parking anywhere so living in an SUV blends right in.
I love your positivity!! With all the negativity happening in the world today you were a breath of fresh air!!! Kinda like those mountains!!!
Im a 61 yr old RN. Most of my life my husband and I had planned to retire and travel North America in a sprinter van. He died when he was 45 and I was 39. Our daughters were 9 and 16 at the time. seeing that interaction on the rooftop really puts my faith back humanity. Dude could have been an asshole and kicked him out for no reason but instead carried on a nice conversation and even called you jersey. what a wholesome and real interaction between two nice genuine dudes. what a great vibe
And towards the end of the video another cool interaction with also nice group of young people. What a great personality
I’ve found that in general, people in Colorado are super nice.

People in Colorado are very friendly and come from all over. Where did you work in CO.?
That security guard should get a paycheck from the Denver tourism board. He made it seem like a warm, welcoming, interesting place to visit.
It's unfuckingbelievable that people get all shocked and shaken when they receive good customer service, or just kindness in general, this generation has no clue
Why are you people so shocked and shaken when you receive great customer service or kindness from other People. Try it
That was the most wholesome parking attendant interaction I've ever seen!! I loved how he pretty much was your personal tour guide for a minute, giving an intro to Colorado.

You are an inspiration thank you for sharing your life with us so amazing!❤
This guy is very innovative. And a great cook. I love how he even cooked the sides of the chicken lol. He’s so grateful/energetic/humble to have what he has. Inspiring. He has such great looking eyes and bare feet. How he can sleep with socks on, idk. Thanks for sharing!
As an Registered Nurse in Australia I understand your need for being thrifty. I was homeless for a year to save money but now I own a home in a good area. Nursing is the essential career as it has so many uses around the world. Best wishes to you.

@@TheBrownIsland 😂!
Nurses make way more in America 🇺🇸 he is honestly rich
It's so wrong that our nurses aren't paid enough to live comfortably and be able to afford decent housing. 😢
California is down the drain
.
It's not a regular car ,this a luxury van nicely setup having warm weather is a huge help ,it's sad that rent is so expensive in a land full of space! Wishing this young man the very best 😊stay safe !
Hello! I graduated from nursing school in Denver in 1975. I've retired now after 42 years of critical care nursing. I love these videos of people living in various vehicles. That would be so freeing. I also love seeing parts of Colorado. Brings back so many memories.
As an Australian who takes a keen interest in American politics, I have been despairing at the state of your nation. This uplifting and positive video gives me hope for your society. Congratulations young man, you are a credit to your country. I hope and trust that there are many more with your positive attitude out there. I have no doubt you will make a very fine nurse. I look forward to your next post.
Australia your government rules over y’all. If Americans keep voting blue our democrat party will rule us too.
@@CCBrady oh my goodness, you are exactly what I am talking about. Have you ever been out of your country and seen the real world? Have you ever been out of your state? Your town? They say ignorance is bliss, and before social media that may have been true. But these days not so much. Anyone with two fingers and a modem can spout absurd drivel and there will always be a percentage of the population that will believe it. That’s you mate! If I was a betting person I would wager that you get all your information from fox, and you think tucker carlson tells the truth. May your deity of choice help you.
Thank you. We are not in a good place right now. It’s been especially bad since 2020.
hope for a society because a RN nurse is living in a car??? you must have smoked something if you believe that this is positive, USA has devolved back to the 18, and 19 century, where corporations were dictating policies, and now it's the same, corporations are giving money to the politicians, both Conservatives and a lot of Democrats and in return they pass rules and regulations that favors them... and everytime when you want to pass anything to regulate the market, the conservatives cry communism or socialism....
You are a breath of fresh air! SO GLAD YOUR VIDEO POPPED UP!!!! GOD BLESS YOU AND SAFE TRAVELS.
❤
God bless you and your daughter and her husband.
You’re going to be a great nurse. I can see you mastering procedures AND patient teaching simultaneously. Best to you clever man!
