Though his sword was snapped by Akaza and he lost an arm to Muzan, Giyu fought with Tanjiro and his fellow Hashira with everything he had and after genya died, sanemi became a drinker and he realized he has became his father and needs some help.

The real reason would be that Tanjiro puts them like that in his mind because he knows how they died, he knows what injuries they had and how they were hurt, so he doesn't remember that he puts himself like that, unlike Tamayo. Tokito, genya, Mitsuri or gyomei, does not know for sure how serious their injuries were, apart from shinobu, he only knows that they died, but not how seriously injured they were, so it would be more Good for that, since Tanjiro's last memory of Rengoku was when he was dying, and Obanai's when he was also very injured.

In manga I didn’t see MITSURI losing the other arm. Maybe it’s the angle problem because what I saw in muzan’s third attack to MITSURI didn’t seem to cut her other arm🫨
