It's funny how Logan said Coffee never tried to contact him on one sentence, and in another sentence, Logan admitted he ignored Coffee's invite to contact him because, according to Logan, Coffeezilla is only doing this for clout and money...and yet Logan propose to Coffee to get him on Logan's podcast; walking contradiction

A few things:
Logan is trying to pad out his answers so you might miss it
He keeps bashing Coffee but at the same time trying to compliment him so it doesn't seem as malicious
They got caught with their pants down trying to shadow release it and were essentially foiled when an outside source started buying up the eggs as well. They say there was no scam, only because someone threw a big wrench into it before they can implement the scam.
I mean of course they arent going to say that out right. But dont think he really did anything to hide his animosity towards coffee. It's was more like a "I Ill give the devil his due" and at the same time call him a liar and criminal. The intent being to convince his people that coffee is some kind of evil nar-do-well puppeting the ignorant masses of RUclips against him.

They are going in to detail and planning how to pump the project,
illegal use of non-public material information is generally used for profit.
The 4 people in the project are discussing how much they are allowed to sell so they wont tank the price too much.
All in all what they were doing is market manipulation/ conspiracy to commit market manipulation, which are pretty heavy crimes and can lead to long prison sentences.
Also missleading investors/ buyers, he called the project a game and after release he has called it a crypto/ nft project multiple times.
He's not complimenting Coffee to avoid seeming malicious. He could not care less about that. He's complimenting Coffee's skill to emphasize his "master manipulator" narrative. It's a common tactic to point out your enemies strong points so you can highlight how they used that talent for evil purposes. It's like a lawyer repeatedly saying how muscular and physically fit someone is to make the argument that they were capable of completely overpowering the victim. It's also like if you try to say a successful con artist is a complete idiot, that contradicts the fact that they were at least more clever than the people they were scamming. You *have* to compliment their intelligence to some degree in order to make them appear to be a credible threat. If just some talentless idiot made a video with baseless accusations against Logan, then he should be ignoring it, not making a podcast episode centered around damage control.

@osmium6832 Logan has had talentless idiots make videos about him for many years now. I think the issue here is Coffee is attacking his character and alleging he tried to scam investors without any proof and worse he knows Logan's intent was to make CryproZoo a real project that could earn investors money.
It fell apart for various reasons and continuing the development of this project proved burdensome.
You can see from this video Logan was already laying the groundwork for a defamation lawsuit and even before filing it had been drafted for months.
Coffee isn't covered by his insurance so he's screwed. I get that Logan is easy to hate but it's not looking good for Zilla
Listening to Logan speak on this, I am now convinced he's a manipulative scam artist and narcissist.

Yess. No one addresses the internal memos and chats where LOGAN WANTED TO MANIPULATE THE MARKET. Asmon says that logan "wants to make money" which is true but is not just gross negligence, but obvious malicious intent.

Yup. They even tried to artificially create trading volume, to get other traders involved. The NFT game never happened, so the token price was never going to pump that much. But I also think that his lawyer told him not to sell his tokens, because then he's probably getting into much more trouble for this fraud.

Z wasn't a registered felon, his records had been expunged. Meaning LP doxxed someone's criminal record after the legal system wiped his slate clean, on top of which, there was no way for Coffee to find these records outside of directly asking him about his criminal record.
When I saw the "receipt" of that 20 year old obstructing of justice I wondered how he got it so quickly. My assumption is he had it ready from the beginning to defam Z in case he goes openly about not being paid, or to blame it on him after successfully rug pulling the whole thing.
@Mediamatix best case scenario for LP, Z wasn't lying to Muta, and those files aren't pertaining to him, but he had mentioned in conversation with the boys that he'd run into legal trouble in the past and LP's team pulled up files on a different guy with the same first and last name but (as Z claims) different middle name. Middle case for LP, it was a real file, which he got when the thorough background check on Z was done by the dodgy people who could get their hands on such things.
Worst case, like Senator Armstrong, LP made it the fuck up.
Figures for they guy who spouts "second chances" and "I've improved and changed" any chance he gets that he'd use people's crimes they served time for already to try and invalidate their accounts. (Even though we use criminal testimonies and information all the time in the legal system so anyone who falls for this is probably just like Logan).

@cynthia hembree it means more than him being irrelevant, it, along with him wanting to remain anonymous (hence not being named by Coffee) means LP doxxed him... Which could get him kicked off of youtube. Whether he actually is, that's another thing.
Nah, he's not going to jail. He's absolutely already been working with the feds because everything went to shit and his lawyers would have advised him to cut a deal. But that doesn't mean he didn't do the thing.
The funniest thing is that Asmongold doesn't know that Ash has released a LOT of his Pokémon either back into the wild or left them with other people to never see or pick them up again. He actually even tried to release Pikachu into a big group of wild Pikachu.
They need to start arresting people involved in these crypto scams.
Probably will get there eventually, hopefully with retroactive laws but the boomers in congress don't understand anything about crypto so scammers are going wild for now.
Who be the victims? The people who are buying into it just want to scam others later when they try to sell like a pyramid scheme. Also people only get arrested once they start scamming the rich and powerful.

@@6Churches I’ve seen plenty of people make that claim before but from what I’ve been able to search up on the issue seems to suggest there really isn’t a universal standard for dealing with cases like these.
Not that it even really matters though as an investigative journalist reaching out to in your official capacity as someone’s manager for an official statement about the story they’re working on falls well within the legal expectation of privacy, even for states such as California.
Idk why Logan’s defense couldn’t lean on the fall guys and be this simple (even if it’s a half truth):
-As coffee said, bad actors snuck in and ruined the project
-We did a bad at communicating, our legal team said we should hold back as we look into action against those bad actors
-Coffee couldn’t have known this, but we swear we’re still working on this behind the scenes and plan to release it.

Typically, when you have to bring up the word for word definition of "scam" to prove you're not scamming,
you might be scamming.
Legally Logan have no case as Coffee is based in Texas and Texas law says that either party of a conversation can start recording it without the consent of the other parties. He phoned from Texas to California therefore Coffee was obliged to follow Texas law, not California one.

When Logan talks about Crypto King selling against his buyers it’s important to remember there were internal messages explaining when to sell, and what levels of market manipulation they wanted to do.
The only reason Logan didn’t sell is because Crypto King and Eddie wiped out the market cap and Logan either would’ve lost money, or not gained anywhere near enough to make it worth it for him to sell.

The point is that the entire goal of this stupid ass NFT project (as evidenced by the group texts) was to exploit his fans buying the coin first then sell off the millions of dollars worth that the original group (including Logan) had already secretly released to themselves. The only reason Logan didn’t sell was because if he did there would be no way to deny his involvement in the scam. It’s still pretty clear at this point but not so 100% crystal clear that he can’t deny it. Hence his ridiculous comeback video with all his lackeys pretending not to know exactly what happened so they can at least appear unbiased (unless you aren’t an idiot in which case it’s obvious they will protect their daddy no matter what)
What's the first rule of acquisition? Once you have their money you never give it back.

Imagine saying you are going to sue an investigator for defamation, while you proceed to defame them on every corner of the internet, when they actually did nothing defamatory towards you themselves. Coffee simply provided information with a complete lack of malicious intent and did thorough investigations on every single point he made in his entire documentary of this situation, but Logan did nothing but turn around and spit on Coffee's shoes saying he is doing this for clout and money (which is ironic because it is quite clear that Logan is trying to milk this situation. As said by Asmon and others nobody who is under advisement by a legal team who is planning to sue would be going out in the open like this all over social medias because it directly hurts their case and gives the other side ammunition)
This will be nothing but a waste of the court's time, and a waste of even more money. I guess what we are seeing NEXT is going to be Logan Paul's biggest scam, because he will be dragging down even more than just your average Joe with him.

Criminally speaking, yes. Civilly speaking though, there are different laws based on the state. For example, Kearney v. Salomon Smith Barney, Inc is a civil case that determined you apply California's two part consent to phone calls coming in from other places. I don't know where the manager was or if that state has similar laws but it is important to know.

From what I understand about CryptoZoo, it doesn’t even seem like a game at all.
Logan and his brother were one of my step sons favourite people about 5-6 years ago, they then showed themselves to be predators, not of a sexual kind no, of a monetary one, or if you'd like to go further, a MORAL one. They lie and cheat, then they deflect, then people forget. Nothing would change in the world tomorrow if I disappear, but tomorrow if these scumbags disappear, at least I know they can't pull on the heart strings of a vulnerable person and fleece them not just for money, but their mental health and trust in others. I honestly don't give a shit about what people think journalism is, its fucking gone, dead.

Why is it that very few people question Logans logic when he defines the definition of scam? It's factually incorrect.
It's not "tricking people out of monetary value" as he implies but "tricking people out of anything of value"
He seems to think cashing out makes it not criminal but it is, regardless.
These tokens or anything for that matter, have both value and monetary value and he's deprived the users of these tokens- that's a scam, because the user can't access a thing that's theirs, they've been deprived of it.
It doesn't matter if he "promises not to cash it" or whatever, he's still deprived the users of it.
You can scam a guy out of 500 boxes of cookies; it's still a scam, as there is value attached to it, such as it being food, but also a monetary value, because it could be sold or exchanged etc.
I use the cookie example because it's intentionally silly but even in such a silly point the logic stands to demonstrate how wrong Logan is.
And even if it somehow didn't, fact remains he surrounded himself and is responsible for hiring a team of criminals who DID scam and cash out, so he STILL has liability and responsibility for the situation regardless.

All coffeeZilla has to say is that all NFTs are scamms and the lawsuit goes away. The thing about defamation lawsuit is you have to prove that that person knowingly lied about you Or didn't care about the truth And ended up lying about you.
