I'm missing when you used to play star sector that was a game I loved
"The Phanerozoic Eon is the most recent, 541 million years ago to today, and means “visible life” because the Phanerozoic rock record is marked by an abundance of fossils. Phanerozoic organisms had hard body parts like claws, scales, shells, and bones that were more easily preserved as fossils"
Ahh I see thanks for explaining
Do you realize you've built a hive ship from Stargate Atlantis? Love it!
I wish not fighter craft yet :)
Yeah... So on my first run, I had 0 chiralite when I had that encounter and couldn't find or afford any in time. So I caused the bad ending for those dudes. :( Only task I failed on the first run. T_T
Your ship speed is pretty solid, with all the armor you're carrying. I went with a glass cannon hot rod: every possible hex was either vent, thruster, power, or gun. I only got up to nearly 500 speed, IIRC. If I replay this, I might try both min-maxing that more carefully, and going with a different tankier build. Fights were fun until they abruptly weren't, as it goes with glass cannons. XD
Also, if you ever find yourself needing an artifact that you've sold off, you can always buy them back from the Guild. That's why the sold items remain listed in their inventory.
Re: trading, this may or may not be spoiler-y for which traders give you the best prices. Feel free to skip if you don't want to know:
Every trader has their own relatively cheap or expensive resources, but I found that the trader's overall pricing matters a lot. If you complete a mission for the Aquarian traders on their island planet, they have generally average to best prices on all but 1 or 2 resources, I think. The glider traders you find early on close to your base (in my playthrough, at least) will buy aluminum fairly high, so you might be able to wheel and deal a bunch of aluminum off for a better profit to re-trade (silver, I think?) elsewhere. Otherwise, I didn't trade much, and didn't track which aliens had THE best prices. Any time I saw my sell price get a green percentage bonus, I'd just try to sell some of that resource if I had it to spare.
I did look into when i first starting playing trade margins but decided to just blast through lol as it would of been too worth the effort. Luckily so far i seem to have the resources i need on mass though I have also been stuck at size 70 hex for a while
Sweet, Love the vids! :)
Thanks!
Would like to inform you that you can gain more resources by recycling your current ship for more materials when building a new higher tir ship. Of course do remember to save your current ship design before you do.
As far as i could tell the game auto returns resources on removing things from the ship so no need to do anything on my part
Should you not focus on getting currency for the planet you helped with the Flora for your purchases? They surely had the best deals at this point.
Hard to really focus down a certain resource unless you keep waiting for the wreck mines to respawn but have not got time for that
Well well then 😂❤
An exabyte is 1 billion gigabytes
Ahh would not mind that download speed XD
