Looked a great bit of fish that. 12.95 Euro is about what we're paying here locally in the UK for a good portion of fish and chips from a standard chippy.

Traditional fish and chips eaten the Traditional way with your fingers you should of had them in a news paper. They looked really good always call in the Queen Vic for a pint when I visit Valletta another great video. 😋👍
Yes That the only way ..There was a print of news paper on the plastic plate, I am afraid thats as goos as it gets now with all the heath restrictions

We come to Malta every year. Already been twice this year and back again in September for Mellieha feasta as it is our wedding anniversary as well. When watching this my wife shouted at me we need to go there and have fish and chips. Keep up the good work.

Coleslaw, it looked like tartar sauce to me, and you were dipping in to it like it was tartar sauce, LOL. At least the rest of the meal looks good to great.
Yes, I find it sad how hard it's getting to find real chips, in Malta and in the USA. I am impressed that they served you unfrozen fish, in Malta that is getting very hard to find in restaurants, that is why you paid so much, and the huge portion of it. That is another thing, frozen fish can cost a lot less especially in bulk, people in Malta are used to spending a lesser amount for the fish and chips, yet I'd rather pay what you paid and get fresh fish.
I like to stop outside of 'St. John's Co-Cathedral' and take photos of the outside. I could not see myself spending 15 euros unless I spent at least half a day there, which I don't have the time to do, since I don't live in Malta.

I could be wrong but it looked like Cod 🤔. €12.90 ($20 🇦🇺)sounds bit pricey, BUT not when its two big delicious battered pieces of fish enough for TWO people. You seemed to have liked it because you devoured the lot 😋☺.THANKS🚶🎥 👏.

Steve enjoy it while you can I wouldn’t complain about the quantity take it while you can it’s the same price as what we pay here over in England that is I’m talking about Surrey where we live course up north it would be a bit more cheaper fortunately
Its about £10 is sheffield for fish and chips , It used to be about £7.00 - £8.00 According to chip shop owner its to do with the war in Ukraine.
I not eaten fish and chips in a while 12.95 seemed high, but after getting two big fish, looked worth it !

Why is there a restaurant called Cockneys as you get off the ferry to Valletta, what's so Cockney about it ?
Its from the old days many owners called shops ,Bars ,Restaurants after british places and things, Was a very British - Maltese connection
Wonderful video. We’re in Valletta? I was born in Valletta until the age of 15 then we went too Uk 🇬🇧 for 2 years because my dad was in the navy after he finished his service 10 years of service. we then came to Australia 🇦🇺 st Andrew’s is that the one in South street ?

Depends on the music, and what the owner wants to do !! I just dont wanna take the chance, To spend the time to make a video and have all the money given to owner of any music for 60 secs or so of hearing there music in the back ground, or have the chance to have the video taken down ! its happened to me many times

Just been to where you recommend fish was off and rank and definitely not what yours looked like didn't even get chips was potato slices wouldn't recommend this place to anyone
Been a few times and never had a bad one ! Why didn't you complain? But Funny enough one of my friends went the other week and got potato balls not chips, I am sure the manager would like to know if something went wrong
