hey bro! i would personally recommend somewhere like ehukai, or the pupukea break (right if ehukai beach park) as it is a super chill and fun ns type wave. i surf that area almost every other day too!
You get a half dozen sick barrels in board breaking conditions, you bite off a coupla close-outs, and finally you pop up and find your board snapped. You cry out "Oh no!" WTF do you expect? Nice POV footage.
Typically its two or three right on the head and then it flushes you over to the channel were its a bit softer. Sometimes you get recycled for quite a while though.

To be honest in that specific instance I'd been waiting longer than those guys, and they're all traveling pros that had been riding small ones all day so I just made it known that I was going. It all depends and for sure gets tricky out at pipe.

In the past it definitely did, even lost a tooth to it haha. Pro Standard Grill Mount the only one that doesn't bother me in that way.

Hahaha good point. It broke under my feet on the foamball, I was honestly more bummed about not making the wave because of that.
