Last time it happened I got lucky. Was right on the end of a Stage, so we just gunned for it before the Dread could reach us. Oh and another thing, Random Dreads aren't actually Swarms! I learned this recently after one Spawned immediately after the Swarm Music ended on a P.E. So just know, you are in constant Danger! Good luck!
@@muffincatgames now that you mention it, ive had that happen once before as well. Way too close to a previous swarm to be another one. I think ive only ever had the dread spawn on mining and point extraction personally.
Lucky you. I've had one for Elimination, Mining Expedition and Point Extraction. Honestly, I am kinda always hoping the next Egg Hunt or Salvage Op will be a Dread one.
Clean, Bro these videos and runs as well as the Karl dives are amazing!!!! Thank you for all of the DRG content. I didn't start playing untill the wide release last month but I've stopped playing everything else to mine. Rock & Stone Brothers!!!!
Huh, your third stage really differs from all the 3rd stages on this EDD that I've seen previously. I know for a fact that Deep Dives can occasionally change a few mineral placements and uplink locations throughout the different runs, but not something as major as cave generation.
Soil ah ok, eggs and dreads don’t have standard spawns for swarms or if they do, they take an extremely long time. Mining and point extraction have swarms that are announced by mission control every 5-7 minutes. When I say I am back on the clock it means that I will have waves spawning after a certain time instead of having to deal with just unannounced small waves of enemies.
Great video. Give us the audio at the end that you replaced with the voiceover please. I think it'd be great content/funny to hear your internal dialogue as you threw the game.
Ryan Haffenden it’s on the twitch vod if you really want to hear it though it’s not really anything interesting. I complain about getting frozen twice back to back, say I might lose the whole run, and then am disgusted when the c4 blows up within range of me. Didn’t know it landed on top of the resupply until I watched it back so in the moment I just assumed it was bullshit. It’s literally the last 2 min of the most recent stream vod so not that hard pull up, but I promise it’s just w/e
are flame throwers more effective in ice biome? vice versa for cryo in magma core? Why not use subata with +dmg to burn targets? just curious nice gameplay!
William Macleod the flamethrower is more effective in glacial strata. The same isn’t true of the cryo in magma. It’s just that many glacial enemies have weakness to fire but that’s not true in other regions for other damage types. These enemies are also resistant to ice meaning the cryo really suffers on glacial. I don’t use the subata because I prefer the EPC. Wish I had a better reason than that but it’s really just my preference. Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
really good question but I am still not 100% sure. My guess is that the frost clouds from previous praetorians triggered the temperature shock. The fire debuff ended either by cooling or ran out of duration on its own while the praetorian was standing in the frost and that was enough to trigger the shock. I went back to check and I'm pretty certain that temp shock only applies to frost/fire and no other elements so my original thoughts about bosco were incorrect.
i dont think ive ever mentioned it in a video but i pretty much always run 21223 on bosco, unless i take frost rockets. In this video i run increased mining on bosco instead of the revive but i doubt i will ever run that again, especially on driller, as the benefit from the mod is marginal. I ran it a couple times because people say that it is good but I found that it isn't for me.
Can you fall down those vents? I have done a few missions today with those vents and when I bring up my map there is a large drop under them, I've not tried as I did not want ot die lol.I had a huge beast on the Magma map come up under me, it had large lava bubble on his back, not seen that before, scared the hell out of me, there I was just minding my own business then blam, ground opens up with this huge beast, I died ofc, left and went and had a beer back on station.
Kexlar if you mean the heat vents on glacial, you can’t fall down them easily because they are pushing back with wind constantly. But items can easily fall down into them.
John Han they aren’t very responsive for the most part, take longer than I would to c4. If bosco rockets were a little faster on how he registered to fire them, I would use them a lot but instead I build him to just go around slowing targets.
"Wish I took Dash instead of See you in Hell"
*- Is running both Dash and See you in Hell*
Oh, and Random Dreads are possible on Deep Dives. Haven't had one in an Elite Dive, but I can confirm they do for Standard Dives.
I feel like this happens literally every week on one of the dives lmao. Also, that’s good to know, I’ll keep it in mind.

Great video and you even edited it great. That ending, what a twist!

Praying for you in this trying time 🙏
The other praet gas applied freeze temp shock to the burning praetorian
You keep saying if you don’t complete the objective in time something bad will happen. How long do you have and what happens when the time runs out?
Soil what part are you talking about specifically because I’m not sure I understand

Alright, thank you. I'm trying to learn about this game's mechanics, so thanks for your answer.
I recognize this as the first solo elite dive I have ever done, also the last.

Did you figure out what temperature shocked the praetorian at ~3 minutes?

Sorry not sure if you mentioned this anywhere...but what perks do you run for Bosco?

Hey what is build and why do you use the build you do, Love the build and content
new miner, why do u not use boscos rockets?

This is not to say I think they are bad. They are particularly good on gunner zips and as scout when herding enemies while grappling.
Can I see your build?
